Large downstairs apt. with sidewalk from your vehicle to patio, with patio furniture and a large outside table. Enjoy twinkling stars at night with very little light pollution; see birds, deer, wild turkeys and a few peacocks making their appearance. We also have chickens and offer free farm fresh eggs upon request! Wifi speeds are 100+ Mbps thru Starlink, and large yard for kids to enjoy. We have many different spices, flour, baking soda, cornstarch, etc, & styrofoam coolers for guest use.

This is a totally renovated barn done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Stoney Lonesome Retreat

Welcome to Stoney Lonesome Retreat. Why Stoney Lonesome? Not entirely sure, you can blame it on my great grandfather, old Fredrick Richard August Christian Uhde. He named the property back in 1972 and the name has stuck!!! My parents Elward and Susan purchased our property in the summer of 1969 for $500 and we have been here ever since. My brother and I were raised here and now my wife Gretchen and I are so proud to be raising our son Simon here. The third generation on this land.

We fell in love with the smell of pine, the warmth of handcrafted timber, and the slower pace of living with the promise that one day I'd build a log home too. Come stay at our cozy little cabin in Marion. With plenty of lakes near by, this is the perfect spot to be if you’re looking for a lake vacation or to enjoy the outdoors. It has one bedroom and one bathroom, with an open living-room, dining-room, and kitchen area. Sleeps two adults and has a fold out couch bed that makes into a full bed. It’s near hiking trails. It’s an hour from Glacier National Park, and a half hour drive to Kalispell for shopping and dining.
