Access all the amazing activities that WNC has to offer including hiking, biking, boating, tubing, swimming, kayaking, fishing, with beautiful weather & scenery year round from this convenient location or sit on the front porch & enjoy the beauty.

Near Old Fort's downtown, restaurants, shops, brewery & winery within a few blocks. Hiking & cycling trails in Pisgah National Forest are close. It has a spacious layout and an outdoor, covered porch to enjoy the seasons. Designed for two, four can be accommodated using the sofa bed. Stocked with all the amenities you'll need to enjoy your stay and maybe a few extras, including coffee from a local roaster, teas and homemade bread. If it isn't available, check Railway Rest, a mile from town.

Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

This is our old home place on the farm were I was raised here with my grand parents. It was remodeled in 2006 with lots of love and holds a special place in our lives. A place to come and relax by the creek. Sit on the porch and rock in the evenings. Fire Pit available by advanced request down by the creek. Cozy cottage with one bedroom (queen bed) and bath has been completely remodeled with new hardwood floors, granite counter tops, kitchen appliances and w/d. There is a nice little deck out back with a charcoal grill or enjoy a quiet evening around the fire pit out front. Five minutes to Rutherford Hospital, easy access to TIEC, the nearby blueridge mountains, historic Asheville and Hendersonville or if you are looking for something different you could easily visit Charlotte or Greenville SC.

The Carriage House and city of Morganton have power and are ready visitors. This guest house sits behind a historic home in downtown Morganton. The 1920s structure has restored original finishes : a claw foot tub, vintage bathroom sink, and farm house sink in the kitchen. Downstairs features original wood bead board ceilings. Upstairs the ceiling was removed to expose the roof and beams. Two fireplaces keep it cozy - you'll have a lovely place relax and listen to the rain on the metal roof.
