We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Teresa and Peter’s place. Having a second bedroom for our 15 month old to sleep in worked out well. Teresa had kindly placed some breakfast items in the fridge for us and Denver the dog would constantly drop fresh avocados outside our door. The tree-lined driveway ushers you up a hill to the main house and detached apartment that has magnificent views over the countryside towards the Kaimai Ranges from the lounge and main bedroom . The large wooden deck is a great place to relax and take in the scenery after a long drive. Matamata has a good choice of restaurants just 5 mins away. I highly recommend this AirBnB. It is clean, modern, well appointed and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating.

Such a lovely stay. The rooms were perfectly clean, comfortable and stylish. The hosts were very welcoming and thoughtful. We enjoyed Michael's archery session and Mia's amazing breakfast. The freshly baked bread was fabulous. And the lovely dog Hunter showed me around their beautiful garden!! We had a great time and it is actually the most pleasant accommodation we have ever stayed at in NZ.

Stephen And Sue's place was perfect for my needs while attending a workshop just a few minutes away. Very comfortable, clean and had everything I needed including breakfast cereals and milk.

Absolutely loved our little cabin, it was easy to find with quick check in. The property is gorgeous! A cute little wood cabin thats cosy in the evening and a warm shower whilst semi-outsude was lovely. Also loved the gazebo with the bbq, we'd definetly stay again thank you!

Another lovely stay at Adrienne’s. Her place is spotless, comfortable, beautifully designed and the pool was so nice as the weekend was very hot and sunny. It’s a peaceful spot and has everything you need plus a few extras. This is definitely our favourite place to stay in the Hamilton area and we will be back.

Hi this is a lovely quiet place clean neat and tidy with lots of lovely touches… great choice of brekkie I’d thoroughly recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

We loved Maria’s home and were sad we couldn’t stay longer. We were a family of 7 and I was worried to all be in one large living area but it was wonderful and the kids loved it! Maria was so kind and always responsive. She prepped everything nicely for our arrival and had the baby bed all set up. She also had some fruit, muffins, and bread and little snacks for our family too that we thought was so thoughtful. We didn’t get to feed the alpacas unfortunately because we had an early tour at hobbitton, but Maria was so kind to offer it to our kids. Would highly recommend this place to all. Very clean and in a beautiful location.

Such a fabulous little hide away. Highly recommend to anyone looking to get in touch with nature and have a break from the city - the cabin was quaint and cosy!

Really beautiful place to stay, quite close to Hobbiton and Matamata. Nice distance from other houses if you're looking for a more private location. Caren is lovely and really responsive.

Absolutely treasured our time at Michele's place. Everything about it was well considered and we felt right at home. The bed was very comfortable and we loved talking to the wandering Pukeko out the window. Such a relaxing and peaceful experience. Would stay here again!

Kylie’s thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. I arrived on a hot afternoon and the A/C was on and the room was cool and I was instantly feeling the luxury of the stay . So many little treats to make me so at home -Even a pillow library to choose from. I can’t wait to find an excuse to return

I needed a place that was peaceful and would allow me to recover and this beautiful cottage provided me with that and more. With a beautiful view from every window and the only sounds being the bird song and the breeze in the trees, it was a perfect place for me to re-energise and refuel. I highly recommend this cottage and the care of the hosts. There was also a much appreciated bag of fresh fejoas and apples - truly spoilt!

Melissa and Charlie’s home is beautiful and peaceful. Getting to meet all the animals was so nice! Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Absolutely gorgeous place to spend a relaxing couple of nights. Tony was an amazing host and the suite itself is cute and very well-supplied. The sunset views were unbeatable.

We had a lovely stay at Wendy's place. It is beautifully furnished and spacious. Facilities are all great and the breakfast was an extra bonus. Great communication and flexibility.

Thank you so much, we absolutely loved everything about our stay, from the easy check in, to the freshly baked scones - best we have ever had!! We stayed here before getting married at The Boatshed just down the road, and everything was perfect for us.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Sarah and James’ place. The cottage was simple but comfortable. The basic kitchen was very adequate for the food preparation we did over our stay. Highlights were the spectacular views and cozy living room with terrific fireplace (wood burning stove) that we used on most nights. Sarah was very responsive and recommended several beautiful hikes and walking trails that started from their pasture land and went up a mountain for great views and meandered beside the local river. Waihi, the nearest town for shopping, was 15 minutes drive. Waihi Beach, a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and walking was uncrowded and about 25 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Amazing hosts! Cai & Mike's communication was outstanding. Very accommodating at short notice (We booked on the same day). The place was lovely and quiet. Close to town but peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of town. Loved our stay and will definitely be back!
