Our tiny home started life as a commuter bus in Manchester, England, in 1953, then did stints in San Francisco and Mt. St. Helens before finding a home as the Grilled Cheese Grill in Portland. Now it’s been reimagined as a mid century modern-inspired tiny home, with whimsical painting details from one of its former lives and fresh new handmade details that make it a cozy, inspiring stay. This one bedroom "granny" flat apartment is light, bright and recently renovated. It's a great place to relax and get cozy yet be close enough to experience all that Portland has to offer. If you enjoy the snow and want to ski, snowboard or snowshoe the mountain is within an hour of Portland. Even better, if you don't want to drive you can catch the shuttle bus from the near by transit center up to the resorts.
