Centrally located, the large front porch gives a perfect perch to sip some sweet tea while you people watch and enjoy the kids playing in the large front yard. On site amenities include huge 2,000 sq ft deck, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, separate fire pit, pool, hot tub, playground, and ~120 acres with miles of trails. Nearby things to do include horseback riding, hiking in the Homochitto National Forest, and boating in the Homochitto reservoir. We also have hookups for up to two RVs for an additional charge.

We absolutely love hosting!This space is an apartment built in part of a shop metal building. This was designed by and for our daughter who has since moved and so now using for Airbnb. one queen bed in the loft, one twin XL bed in downstairs bedroom. couch lets out to twin bed but I would only recommend for children….as it is small. To be comfortable, you may want to ask options for more than 3 . Bathroom opens to bedroom. Please note: Shower is small. There is no TV, but great WiFi.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
