We had a great time, and this very charming place was perfect for a nearby family visit to Slippery Rock. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Chuck was a perfect host and although we didn't need anything, I never felt like it would have been trouble to ask. The spacious kitchen was excellent for our family breakfasts. I'm sure we will consider staying here again when we are back in the area.

I fell in love with Hilda’s House! You can feel the joy that this home brings. They say a home is where you can find comfort in the kitchen and create beautiful memories around the table and that describes our experience perfectly. We really enjoyed everything about our stay. I was thrilled to find a fully functional and modern kitchen with everything I needed to prepare family meals. The large dining room table was also exactly what we needed. The rest of the house is nostalgic with family history and we felt cozy, comfortable and welcomed. The location is also great! I joined Planet Fitness because it was only a six minute walk away. The grocery store Giant Eagle is very nice with a variety of fresh produce. We visited Buhl park almost everyday for beautiful walks. We visited several of the recommended spots including roller skating, Kraynak’s and more! We have already begun planning our next family trip and would be honored to stay at Hilda’s House upon our return.

Very very nice stay. Would definately choose this place again. Beds were so comfortable and cozy. My daughter said it felt like coming back to grandma's, which is a hugh compliment!

Excellent communication from start to finish. Attended daughter's graduation at GCC and just a 15min drive from school. Six adults and our dog had no hassles and all was great. Highly recommend. Thanks Susan for helping to make our weekend less stressful.

The house was easy to find. Located on a quiet street. Adrienne was friendly and responded to messages quickly.

Sarah was so easy to work with! She was very understanding and accommodating. The camper we initially booked had an ac issue so she put us a different one. Jenn is the campground host and she made sure we had everything we needed. We had to cut our trip short, but our brief stay was a pleasant experience. I would say if you are not used to camper life, don't book one for vacay. We are so it was exactly the experience we were looking for. The playground was fun for the boys and the setting peaceful.

The hosts were welcoming and responsive. The campground was well maintained and quiet. All of the other campers were friendly during our stay. Being so close to the creek would have made fishing or kayaking easy, but we just ran out of time! I appreciated all of the extra amenities including playground equipment, individual fire rings, a pool, swings, pavilion and bathrooms. With not a lot of choices in this area, we were happy to find this place and enjoyed our stay. P.S. we had great cellular service during our stay and were able to use our apps to watch tv and remain connected to the world.

Mitchell’s Pond was very charming, restful and restorative for our families. We had two families of seven, both with five young children. The kids spent every morning fishing, and swam all afternoon. The ample yard space was great for playing games, and the kids enjoyed catching frogs and watching the many birds return to their nests. The houses are old farm houses, so they are not fancy and shiny, but they were charming and beautiful. The kids are already asking if we can go back next year.

The Carriage House is one of the most peaceful places that we've ever stayed. The Rustic character and decor felt welcoming and comfy. The view of the pond in the morning while listening to the birds and drinking a cup of coffee - unbelievably Zen. We enjoyed soaking in the jacuzzi and having a good steam in the Sauna. The quietness was particularly stunning as well. We really felt like we had our own personal Spa for 5 days. I'm from the Knox area and will be staying here from now on whenever we're home for a visit. Our black lab Bella also enjoyed chasing the ball in the big field and going for a swim in the pond as well. Perfect place for a dog! Thank you Maria for sharing this delightfully beautiful place with us!

This is nice little hide away from the world, felt right at home, lots of space and grass for me to play with my dog. Stacy was very helpful, responsive and great host giving instruction before hand and providing items for my pet. Will always stay again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at Sunny’s lake house. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and barbecuing. We chose this home because of the first floor bedroom and bathroom and one step to enter as my 94 year old grandmother stayed with us. Doorways were all wide enough to accommodate her rollator walker. We loved being able to cook and bake together in the well stocked kitchen. Sunny responds quickly to inquiries and provided updates. We did not use the recreation room in the basement or pool/ hot tub but can see that these would be great for other groups staying here. Lastly, mattresses were very comfortable and everything was extremely clean.

A quick trip for a family memorial service and needed a nice place to stay…, got that and an excellent host who helped me extend the reservation by another day!

We have stayed here several times while visiting our college students. It is always a great place to stay. Faith is a great host.

The home was a beautiful, peaceful getaway. Everything was clean and just as described or shown in the photos. Pamela responded quickly to my questions before booking. She also responded very quickly when there was an issue an internet issue. She has someone out to fix it ASAP.

I booked on zero notice and the Host was very responsive. The place was awesome for our crew to recharge for the weekend. I had a few questions and responses were very quick. Couldn’t be more pleased with the experience.

My family spent three nights here and overall had a great experience! There were a couple of hiccups BUT Dane was very receptive and communicative toward hearing what was happening and resolving the minor issues. We absolutely will stay here again for future trips (which we do annually)

Quaint little place! Loved the themed rooms decor especially the military decor in the main bedroom. Our son particularly enjoyed the Nintendo 64. The back porch was inviting and was great to sit and unwind after a wonderful day celebrating our daughter’s college graduation! The informative notes throughout the home helped to answer any questions we may have had. The Shay Shack was cozy and definitely had everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay and relax as if it were your own home. If we ever visit Westminster College again for an extended period, we will definitely consider the Shay Shack for a repeat stay!

Sean went above and beyond to make our family feel incredibly welcome, and he was willing to accommodate a particular request that we made so that we could personalize our time in Mercer for our family. We are so thankful for being able to bring our family to Sean‘s place, and we will always hold it as a special place in our families’ memories!

Treva's house was perfect! It was very clean and comfortable. It matched the description and in a great neighborhood. Treva was amazing to deal with, she was very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The only negative I would have is that the train came through blowing its whistle at 11:30 at night. I would still recommend the house and hope to return again soon.

This home had everything needed for a family. The house was very spacious, clean and welcoming. The snack basket alone was impressive! They thought of every detail. Our daughter goes to Westminster College and we could walk everywhere…which was an added plus. Her friends got to enjoy a nice bbq & fire on the back deck after playing games in the basement. You will not regret picking this home away from home. Thanks Bob & Monica! :-)
