Just 5 miles from the coast, 'Carreg Wen' (Welsh for 'White Stone' is situated on the western side of historic Haverfordwest, and is ideally positioned to see all parts of Pembrokeshire. Within easy walking distance of the town and within 30 minutes drive of all parts of the county. Whether visiting for mini breaks, holidays, visiting local friends or for work, we hope to provide relaxed, calm, and practical accommodation. The local PARK RUN (every Saturday at 9am) is just 5 minutes walk away.

Ty Venda, perfect for exploring the coastal path

Ty Venda is a two-bedroom annexe with an open-plan lounge, diner, and fitted kitchen. On the first floor are two bedrooms; one has a standard double bed and the other a smaller 4ft double suitable for one adult or two children. The bathroom has a gas-heated shower and WC. There is an additional WC on the ground floor. Patio doors lead out onto the garden, which is fully enclosed, making it secure for any fur babies that visit. It is equipped with a picnic table and benches for alfresco dining.

There is off road parking in front of the annex we are perfectly situated as a base to explore many attractions eg beaches, coastal countryside of Pembrokeshire and there are plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance as well as many more attractions it has to offer . Explore the west coast of Pembs; Newgale, Nolton, Marloes, Dale, St David’s or take a drive up to the Preseli Hills to hike and explore. Visit the bustling colourful town of Tenby and surrounding beaches on the south coast or stay local and cycle/walk from the house along the 12km Brunel trail to Neyland.

This cosy, self‑contained studio offers a peaceful place to unwind, with its own private entrance and a small outdoor area to relax in. Inside, you’ll find underfloor heating, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, and a comfortable sleeping space made up with soft Egyptian cotton bedding.
