Beautiful setting , clean, roomy and very private and quiet. Would stay there again

This is a beautiful, tranquil location and lovely home. DM is a very attentive host, almost like a mom :) There were a lot of thoughtfully tailored touches that welcomed us and made us feel at home, including some really lovely breakfasts. It made for a very nice, cozy getaway with a lot of nice perks - massage table, firepit, and a super comfortable hot tub. if you're looking to be charmed by East Sooke, this is a fantastic place for it!

we spent the weekend for my sisters birthday with a group of girls, comfortable setting, getting up early and watching the ocean and exploring the trails near by was wonderful. We will totally be back, even better than pictured!

This was our first time in Sooke and we shared Fredrick’s place with a friend we hadn’t seen in years. The warm home like environment, the separate bedroom ,bathroom spaces worked perfectly. The views were wonderful and we dined and explored the area easily. We wished we could have stayed longer.

As described, would’ve taken more advantage of the nice outside space/ grill had weather permitted but the hot tub was divine. Nice cozy spot from which to explore the stunning surroundings.

Pat's place is awesome. We, a family of four - two adults and two kids (one is at teen age and another one is younger), spent a great long weekend there. Bright, cozy condo with great view from almost any window. It fits all of us, has a nice kitchen with everything you need for your stay. Heated pool with a hot tub, which we and kids enjoyed, just downstairs. The Bay is very good for paddle boarding. We did twice over our stay. If tide is low, you can reach a tiny island where you can find lots of purple and orange sea stars, crabs, and oysters. Ladysmith and Nanaimo suggest great dinner options. Nanaimo also has a nice walkable Marina merging into Maffeo Sutton park. If you like hikes, we tried Extension Ridge Trail hike near Nanaimo and can strongly recommend it to anyone. Malahat Tower is a fun place to visit, just one hour of driving from "Inn of the Sea" resort, we've been there, and were not disappointed. Will definitely stay again at Pat's place.

Loved staying in this beautiful area. The pool and hot tub right next to the ocean were the cherry on top. Tammy’s place was very clean. Felt cleaner than most hotels we’ve been to. Her instructions were crystal clear and we had zero issues accessing the condo and the amenities. Our only feedback; we were missing our creamer in the morning for our coffee. There’s a chance it was there but we didn’t find it! Other than that, we loved it and highly recommend!

Our weekend getaway in May with Sean and Arlene was spectacular. I would highly recommend their place if you are looking to stay in Sooke. The space is larger than what we expected from the pictures, and it was extremely cozy. The place comfortably fit our group of 4. Great attractions near by including Potholes Park and Mystic Beach. Sean was extremely responsiveness, answering any questions we had in a prompt manner. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We enjoyed an extremely relaxing weekend getaway at Jim's guesthouse for our anniversary. When we arrived, Jim greeted us and was very helpful in suggesting nearby hikes and restaurants to check out during our stay. The guesthouse was clean and spacious for the two of us, and the view is absolutely gorgeous. We both would highly recommend staying here for a romantic couples retreat.
