This gorgeous casita is located just a few short blocks (about 1/4 mile) from the plaza in Old Mesilla where you will find tons of great restaurants (mostly delicious Mexican food), wineries, bars, unique shopping and fun events. There is a market in the square on Fridays and Sundays with neat jewelry, art and other local treasures. The area is rich in history and culture and has many tales of days when Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett used to wonder the village.

This renovated adobe casita is the 2nd structure after our main house. The 3rd is a smaller vacation rental called Yucca Casita. We are within 2 blocks of the historic Mesilla plaza with its farmers market, shops, galleries, restaurants, and walking trails along historic acequias (canals).

Sombra Del Valle is a beautiful home located in a quiet neighborhood and within 5 minute walking distance to the historic Mesilla plaza and 2 minute walking distance to a Brewery and restaurant and approximately 5 minute drive to NMSU.
