Oct 25, 2025: We have just completed a full remodel of this lovely house. It now has two bedrooms, full bath, kitchen, deck, and laundry room all on one level and with wide doors to make it wheelchair friendly. My mother built this as her retirement house. She wanted a cozy, comfortable, house with a beautiful view. Wood floors, fireplace with firewood provided for the chilly Monteverde nights, beautiful windows so that you are looking down on the tops of the trees in the river gorge.

There are other cabins on the property, but each one has a private entrance. The house is semi-detached, but it is private.

Ideal for both couples and large families, it has a river nearby, which makes it a very special place. It is on private property, on a small hill where you can see many animals and birds.
