Jazzy personally welcomed me into her cozy historic home, pointed out unique art and artifacts from around the world as she showed me to my room. The room had a feather bed, quality linens all fresh, and a comfy sofa -providing relaxing comfort for my stay. The large shared bath down the hall was full of a wide variety of toiletries, table and chair with mirror and the shower was clean and equipped with a luxury shower head and nice water pressure. I traveled from out of town via Amtrak with a connecting local commuter train station a few blocks from this location. I arrived in this neighborhood filled with well-kept homes, many with gardens and scultures in front. Jazzy's place is the same, and offers a few different options for sitting outside to relax and perhaps socialize with other guests I spent most of my short stay exploring the area on foot and discovered many historic places with outdoor spaces as well. There is a nice variety of cafes - finding food was a pleasure.

Andrea's place was great. Andrea and her husband were very friendly and accommodating but also gave us space when we had to run in and out. Comfy clean room and bathroom (just across the hall). Beautiful artsy home that felt like a victorian bed and breakfast. She made a delicious healthy breakfast and made us feel right at home.

La maison est d’une propreté irréprochable. Le petit déjeuné avec notre hôte nous est offert. Nous avons passé un agréable moment, merci beaucoup.

We had a lovely stay at Tes’s place! She was quick to respond, check in was a breeze and it was very spacious for 3 couples. We would definitely stay here again!

I stayed at Marcia’s home for 2 months and it really became a home away from home for me. She was so kind and accommodating and was an extremely gracious host. Any problems I had, Marcia was always there to help and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. The area was quiet and safe and really close to where I needed to be. The home itself was cosy and well looked after. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and I really hope I get the chance to come back here again.

Megan is an excellent host… friendly, welcoming, and goes the extra mile. Her house is clean and cozy in a peaceful neighborhood. Fresh biscuits and coffee! Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!

I was more than happy with my weekend stay. Johanna and Chris were so accommodating and helpful. Great hospitality.

Kamal was great with accommodating me and my family ! Was super responsive and patient . Will definitely be back when I’m in town!

The apartment is beautiful it was worth the price and it was quiet. It shows that Kamal and his staff take the time and care to make sure his guests are comfortable. I enjoyed our stay and Kamal was a great host. Thank you and I look forward to staying again at either this location or another 🫶

Great location with a easy walk to great food and drink. Check in was simple, easy, and we settled in very fast. Given the area parking was a challenge but no issues otherwise. The bathroom and kitchen were both very clean and accommodating! Would stay again!

Really cool very old house. I LOVED the extremely soft 100% cotton sheets!! what a joy and very rare. Also really appreciated the snacks!! check in was easy and the block is pretty. there are extra toiletries in the bathroom if you forgot something. I'm actually allergic to cats, but there was no cat smell/allergen at all. would stay again.

This was my favourite Place to stay during our USA-Trip. If you like a modern hotel, this is probably not for you. But for us, it was perfect. We had a huge room with the coziest bed ever. We enjoyed the breakfast (whitch is inculded in the price) everyday. The Staff is super friendly and heartwarming. If you are looking for a place to sleep and you are in the area, this is your place to go.

Molly and Dan are fantastic people. They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like a party of the household. The house is full of warmth and charm found in antiquity. They’re black cat was super friendly. Would 100% recommend a stay at the James Matthew’s house. Beautiful garden, private covered porch, and so many snacks!!

it was so great that we extended a while longer. He really makes you feel right at home and has everything taken care of. His attention to detail as far as any items you make have forgotten to pack I'll bet he has ready for you. We fell in love with Zeus his GIGANTIC great dane immediately. I was a little intimidated and nervous at first because he was SO big and we had our 3 year old son with us as well but, he is the most gentle giant and is very mindful of his size and careful around everyone and within minutes they were best friends. Chris' house is beautiful and super clean. You can tell he has worked hard on it and takes pride in sharing it with others. As he should. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. it's s a 10 out of 10 for me for sure!
