The inside has plenty of space for games, a meal together, and has new luxury beds and furniture for a delightful stay. Nothing says "stop and smell the coffee" like this romantic country retreat.

It is situated within two blocks of the Montrose County Fairgrounds, shops, coffee, pubs, City walking path, play area, and restaurants. Use this house as a home base for adventures to the Black Canyon National Park (12 minutes away), San Juans Mountains completing business, meetups, or family get togethers .

Located on a horse property, with Spring Creek running behind the cabin, and Buzzard Gulch trailhead at one end of the road with BLM at the other, this location is the perfect home base to enjoy all this area has to offer or snuggle in for a weekend. Bike ride/hike the local trails by day and watch the Milky Way while enjoying an artisan fire pit by night!

The Yellow Cottage Farm and Guesthouse

This Cottage is truly a place to get away for a romantic weekend! Your year round destination, all seasons have something special to offer. Hiking, biking, and water sports in the spring, summer and fall. National Park, Black Canyon of the Gunnison is 6 miles away. For the winter traveler we have three ski resorts an hour away in each direction. And as always, sightseeing in the fresh mountain air can’t be beat! Our bedding is top notch as well as our towels!

Our guest cottage was built in 2022 and offers a 1 bedroom (Queen Bed) with closet, 1 bath with walk-in shower, cozy living room with vaulted ceilings, 50” Smart TV, internet and free Wifi, small kitchenette with table and 2 chairs, heat and air conditioning, We will be adding a covered front porch summer/spring 2024. Feast your eyes on this awesome and unobstructed view of the West Elks mountain range and Grand Mesa from our big front porch! The house features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room with sleeper sofa, kitchen, dining area, and a second living area downstairs. Outside you’ll find a patio with fire pit where you can sit around a campfire and enjoy the incredible view of Needle Rock and surrounding mountains. We also offer an RV site with full hookup.
