A cozy, comfortable spot to use as a base camp for your explorations of North Pole and Chena. With proximity to the town center and the Chena Lakes Recreation area, the Red Dog Room still feels secluded and private and has direct access to trails. The room has private entry, a small cooking area with a table and a private bathroom. This space is a studio apartment within a house. The only shared space is the driveway but other people might be on the property.

Guests don’t need to worry about the cold temperatures with the year round heating system. The cabin is cozy even in the coldest of winter temperatures. We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as place for our parents to stay in the summer. In the winter, it's yours! It's an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler. At night, watch the Aurora from bed or the large north-facing windows. The large couch is a comfortable place to watch the low winter sun traverse the mountains to the south during the day.
