This charming Welsh cottage is located less than 1 mile from the famous Ty coch inn, in the beautiful fishing village of Porthdinllaen, Morfa Nefyn and the popular Nefyn Golf club. The heart of the cottage is the inglenook fireplace that was once the workplace of the local blacksmith, hence the name 'Yr Hen Efail', meaning 'The Old Smithy'. Centred around this is the cosy, sociable, open plan living, dining and kitchen space perfect for gatherings and relaxation. Sleeps 4-6 and pets are welcome.

With 2 main bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double) it is ideally suited to a couple/2 couples who want to be close to the beautiful beach, the Wales Coast Path and yet stay in a village location with shops and places to eat/drink. The cottage has been fully renovated, providing luxury contemporary accommodation comprising a large open plan kitchen / dining area / lounge, four double bedrooms (two with en suite, and one with mezzanine single bed above). Note the upstairs double bedroom has restricted headroom so is not suitable for tall people!!

Our 18th century cottage is nestled beneath low hills in Cwm Pennant, a quiet, beautiful valley in the heart of Eryri National Park. Sitting off the road, our only neighbours are sheep and cows - an ancient church across a river is the only building in sight. The cottage is as cosy and comfortable on the inside as it is historic and beautiful on the outside - perfect whatever the season.
