Enjoy our secluded 1850s solid brick farmhouse. Completely renovated with modern conveniences, including central AC & super fast, Starlink internet. 5 miles from Shenandoah National Park, Luray Caverns. A short walk to Lake Arrowhead. We also own the downtown cafe, Broad Porch Coffee, so are local and can help if you ever need anything. We are family friendly and love dogs, no pet fee. Drive 8 mins to an access road and then hike 1 mile into the Shenandoah National Park. Luray Caverns is 25 minutes away. Local wine at Wisteria Farm and Vineyards, 15 minutes away.

Only a 15 min drive to I-81 to conveniently access all the Shenandoah Valley has to offer

Welcome to the Zen Dome! Our newly constructed geodesic dome is the perfect romantic getaway in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Enjoy all the amenities of home (wifi, A/C, kitchen, bathroom) all while being fully immersed in nature and a short 8 min drive to the National Park! The home includes a Queen bed, a 2nd level loft with a queen bed, 1 large bathroom, a dining area, full stocked kitchen, and an outdoor patio area with hot tub, outdoor dining table, and fire pit. You deserve some Zen!

Little House on Strother Run

Nestled between Mount Tom and Double Top Mountain and at the edge of the Shenandoah National Forest, Little House is the perfect starting out and ending point for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Appalachian Mountains. Little House is located at the edge of our 7 acre property. You'll enjoy the bucolic atmosphere of our farmette which includes use of our shared sitting area on Strother Run. The sitting area is shared with the main house which is rented or used by our family periodically.

Take in a quiet morning on the front porch or screened in back porch before venturing off to one of many beautiful nearby attractions. The Shenandoah Valley is yours to explore...hike to a nearby waterfall, enjoy the Shenandoah National Park, canoe the Shenandoah River, hit a winery or brewery and so much more.

Peaceful Secluded Old Rag Retreat

The spacious one bedroom yurt is located high on a forested hillside in the middle of 15+ acres. Come enjoy a natural and serene getaway with all the comforts of home- a full kitchen (ie, all utensils, setting for four), a bathroom with shower and laundry, a queen bedroom, and a queen foldout sofa in the living room by the wood burning stove. The windows roll up from the outside and have permanent screens inside. There is also a BBQ grill, a separate firepit, and WiFi via satellite.

Only 90 miles from Washington, D.C. Just 5 miles from Downtown Luray, Luray Caverns, and local conveniences. Only 13 miles from the Thornton Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and river views right from the deck and screened in porch. Listen to the sound of the river which soothes the soul and nourishes the spirit. We do allow well behaved dogs for an additional $50 fee per stay. Limit of two. Sorry no cats.
