Mothel : locations de vacances

We made a last minute change to our trip around Ireland itinerary and ended up in Cobh and it was perfect! The main street has great shops and restaurants and we were right next to the ferry to Spike Island! So glad our plans changed and we landed here - it was PERFECT! Not to mention the amazing view of the church and the water!

Lovely big house that was perfect for our extended family group. Large living space with wood burning stove was ideal and the bedrooms were comfortable. Location is rural with a nice forest area behind the house but it's quite remote from any towns. Check-in was very easy with a simple lockbox and the host was responsive to any of our queries.

Just returned from a fabulous couple of nights in Coolattin. As it was a family celebration, we booked the dairymaids (5bedrooma), the hayloft (3bedrooms) and tindals cottage (2 beds). There were 19 of us (aged from 8 to 80), and there was more than enough space for everyone to enjoy together, or have some time to themselves. The Dairymaids was fantastic, huge living/dining area, with lovely French doors onto the courtyard on one side, and the ‘bee garden’ on the other. Both the Dairymaids and Tindals Cottage are on one level, a couple of small steps in, but perfect for varied ages in our group. Bedrooms were tastefully decorated and lovely powerful showers in en-suites/jack and Jill bathrooms. The Hayloft was stunning with kitchen downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs, along with a sitting room overlooking the courtyard. This was the Tweenies favourite place to escape to and chill! Woodland walks across the road and golf a few mins away made it perfect. Thank you Olivia, Noel and Dee!

We really enjoyed starting in Martina’s House. It was perfect with young children, especially the baby as Martina has a high chair, travel cot and (most importantly to us) black out blinds fitted in each bedroom. The house is peaceful and very private away from the main house with its own entrance and car parking area and a short drive to Rosslare Strand Beach or Wexford Town. Another bonus was the farm shop to pick up a coffee and drinks/treats for the kids before we undertook our trips. Also a choice of playgrounds a short drive away for the kids.

We loved our stay at Whiting Bay. The house is beautiful and set in the most stunning location. Maria was a very helpful host and responded very quickly to any queries. The house is ideal for large groups and worked so well for our family gathering. I would highly recommend.

Had such a lovely stay in Marie’s place. In beautiful surroundings, peaceful yet within very easy distance of the lovely village of Graiguenamanagh and Kilkenny town, with lots of places to explore nearby. The cottage itself had every comfort. We arrived to a lovely cosy lit stove and Marie was such a welcoming host, gave lots of recommendations and even checked in advance to see if a local restaurant was opened for us to eat there. We really appreciated it. Beds super comfortable and cosy, had the best sleep! Really looking forward to coming back to explore more of the area and to stay here again. Lovely couple, they made us feel as home .

Peaceful location with lovely outdoor space. Comfortable, very clean cottage with good facilities. Good location for touring the area. Noeleen was the perfect hostess, very responsive, friendly and helpful. We would happily stay here again.
