We were lucky enough to find Mia Mia while we were waiting to move into our new house so we had a lengthy stay. It was lovely to have such a homely place that was peaceful and comfortable. Fire for the colder nights, very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and we particularly enjoyed all the bird life around the home. A very easy walk into town to grab the necessities, a coffee or a pub meal. Thank you so much for your hospitality Bronwyn and Kieran.

We enjoyed our stay at Anton's. The house was clean, well presented and comfortable. Plenty of room upstairs for a large family or group of friends. The hosts did well to provide a well stocked kitchen of appliances, utensils and condiments as well as bathroom accessories for our convenience. Certainly recommend Anton's house for future guests.

Had a really enjoyable stay here! My favourite accomodation on this trip in fact across four different airbnbs. The house was in great shape, and the surroundings were beautiful with wild kangeroos hopping around. Cozy fireplace which made it enjoyable for stargazing. Couches and lounge areas were very comfortable to relax in. A good place to unwind for peace and serenity if you wish to be away from the bustling cities.

Great host, had some issues but was resolved quickly/ found solutions to our problems. Highly recommend the team at Flophouse!

Leah's cottage was absolutely gorgeous. It was well appointed and had a beautiful interior. There were horses in the neighbouring paddock. The outdoor day-bed was a very sunny spot to hang out in during the day. Our kids loved the games available inside the house. Very convenient to Castlemaine and surrounds for a getaway. We would love to come back again.

This house was super cute and quirky! Is an old house and it has all the charm that comes with it. Super short walk to PUB and General Store… Would Love to come back

We had a wonderful escape for a couple of nights in a really peaceful and beautiful setting. While I could talk about how it matched its description, that the place was spotless, or that sitting in front of the fire felt so homely, there were a couple of things that stood out for me personally. Firstly, as someone who has managed to have tatami rooms in a few houses that I have lived in, and unfortunately doesn't have the space now, being able to sit on tatami and just chat was just lovely. Secondly, as someone who has spent many hours in sento in Japan, being able to sit on a stool and wash before hopping in a deep bath brought back wonderful memories. So all in all, a wonderful space with a really responsive host.

Absolutely lovely! Charming house, with a very comfortable bed, and a perfect little kitchen with everything we needed.

Had a really lovely stay in Freyer's Hut. Carla was a very helpful and responsive host who made me feel welcome and at home. A beautiful, peaceful setting with easy access to lots of great sights in and around Castlemaine, Chewton, goldfields etc.

Dimity's cabins were a beautiful peaceful base for a weekend away for our friends' wedding. The outdoor and natural setting was just what we needed to unwind and slow down, especially since the weather was so clear! It is also a perfect setting for some focussed work time, which we will be back for I'm sure. The bathroom, bedroom and sitting rooms are each in separate cabins so make sure you bring warmer gear in colder months! Dimity was a responsive, thoughtful and generous host - we had everything we needed on arrival. The wine, snacks and milk were a lovely thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend!

Max’s place was beautiful, peaceful and cozy. It had everything we needed with an amazing view. Max was also super proactive and great at communication. Everything was super clean, and had an aesthetic vibe with lovely decorations. Our dog also loved the little lake! Would definitely recommend :)

We loved our stay at Tric’s so much that we were hoping to extend our stay after arriving. Tric was such a helpful host and very responsive. The place is such a cosy home and has everything you need for your stay. We’ll definitely be back again!!
