Set in the majestic rolling granite hills of Harcourt North our views will captivate you, from amazing sunsets to star filled skies. A perfectly positioned location between Bendigo, Castlemaine and Maldon, your base to explore the attractions Central Victoria has to offer, including great local wineries & artisan goods. Our area is home to an abundance of nature, from kangaroos to echidnas to wombats.

Butterworth Cottage is beautiful, simple, sustainable and welcoming accommodation in a prime location. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a family the cottage is a private sanctuary nestled in a corner of our expansive native garden. It feels secluded and remote, yet lies a 1 km walk from the vibrant heart of Castlemaine. Guests can soak in the bath and warm your spirits by the fire in winter and enjoy a refreshing dip in the saltwater lap pool with views of Mt Franklin in summer.

The Winehouse

The Winehouse is an architect-designed, mudbrick home situated on a working vineyard. This home is the perfect place for a friends get-together or family vacation with plenty of room to unwind. Located just outside the lovely village of Malmsbury in the Macedon Ranges on Dja Dja Wurrung Country. Beautiful sunrises light the morning fog rolling over the vineyard, and colourful sunsets sillhouette the abundant fauna of the region. It's the perfect place to unwind.

N.B: Please ensure you specify the correct number of guests when booking. Any undeclared overnight guests will be charged to the credit card used for booking following departure. House is freestanding on a sizeable 1.5 acre property. The owners residence is on the same block of land facing perpendicular to this property (see photos for further clarification). Closeby to the main street of Kyneton which features the historic Piper St hub and local attractions.

Set in the peaceful bushland of Fryerstown, Fryers hut is only 10 minutes from Castlemaine, 30 minutes from Daylesford and 5 minutes from Vaughan Springs. Excellent walking and mountain bike riding are at your doorstep or just relax at the hut and enjoy the garden, pool and sauna. In the heart of the Goldfields region there is plenty to explore including outdoor activities, the arts, festivals, historical sites and great cafes, restaurants and wineries.
