Mount Etna : locations de vacances en bord de mer

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed at this house for 10 days in April 2025. The house was very clean and it was appreciated that there are amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, water, etc. in the house on our arrival. The beds are noted as two singles and two doubles but we felt that the bed sizes were larger. The third floor appears to have a king bed and the 2nd floor has a queen bed. Also, it is clear that the owner spent money on nice mattresses as the beds were very comfortable and hotel quality. We were very pleased with the hot water in the house. We never ran out of hot water in the shower and the water was very hot. Also, we used the washing machine and this worked well for us. The instructions and information provided by the owner were detailed and thorough. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We did not use the air conditioner or the heater but there are five in the house. The house was clean and we would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great 4 days at Lorenzo’s place. The location was even better that we imagined with being right at the beach and less than a 5 minute walk to the cable cart which took you right into the town centre. We could no have asked for a better location. The apartment had everything we needed and there were no issues.

We had a fantastic stay at Katerina and Andrea’s place in Naxos! The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located close to beautiful beaches and local restaurants. They were warm, welcoming hosts who made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying here

I had an extended stay at Elvio’s apartment. The hosts are responsive and welcoming, with great instructions on how to find it. When an issue occurred it was resolved promptly. The apartment is homely, very clean and larger than I had expected. There is a modern kitchen, 2 bathrooms (1 with shower) and really lovely terrace area. the air con/fans were great in the warmer weather. Apartment is really well located in Recanati, 3 mins from bus terminal. Some lovely restaurants close by or a 10 mins walk into Giardini/Naxos. Was a lovely place to stay.

L'appartamentino e' ben curato, grazioso, comodo. Corrisponde perfettamente alle foto. La vicinanza al mare e alla passeggiata di Giardini (oltre che a Taormina naturalmente!) sono un grande vantaggio, anche fuori stagione. Le host sono molto professionali e la casa pulita e attrezzata. Piccoli tocchi di cortesia (lasciare una bottiglia d'acqua, del caffe'...) sono stati apprezzati. Gli unici aspetti negativi forse non dipendono interamente dalle host: la stradina che porta alla casa e' sporca e malandata, i gradini davanti proprieta' sono rotti, il parcheggio del condomicio e' stretto e mal tenuto... insomma la prima impressione e' un po' sciatta. Tutto cambia quando si entra in casa. Nel complesso, consigliato!

The house was incredibly clean and the host was very responsive. Dario was helpful at every stage and was an incredible host. The place was in the perfect location by the water with many great restaurants right outside. Would highly recommend!!

Emplacement magnifique et dépaysant, la vue depuis le balcon est extraordinaire. Pour les plus acrobates un accès à l’eau est possible directement depuis la terrasse du logement. Petit village typique et sympathique loin du tourisme de masse.

We loved this apartment. It was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there. The location is also perfect for arrival by plane in Catania, touring Mt Etna and visiting Taormina. The local area the apartment is in is also beautiful and there is a beautiful view of the ocean from it. Superb!

Giovanni è stato un host molto cordiale e disponibile. la comunicazione è stata puntuale e precisa. unico neo il box doccia, un pò piccolo ma obiettivamente per come è organizzato il bagno non si può fare diversamente.

Die Unterkunft ist ein absoluter Traum – vor allem die Lage mit dem herrlichen Blick auf das Meer und den Etna. Die Terrasse ist riesig und zu jeder Tageszeit herrlich zum Verweilen mit Ruhe und einem tollen Pool. Auch das Haus ist wunderbar: gross, viele Zimmer und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Und die Hosts waren enorm freundlich und flexibel. Absolutes Top-Haus, unbedingt empfehlenswert.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

Our stay in Sicily was truly unforgettable! The house had a beautiful character, filled with charming details that made it feel like a home. The garden was a stunning oasis, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the warm Sicilian evenings. Our host, Carlo, was exceptional—always available to answer questions and provide recommendations. The highlight of our trip was the incredible five-course Sicilian dinner Carlo organized for us, showcasing the region's delicious cuisine. Each dish was a delight! The location itself is a must-visit, with breathtaking views and rich culture all around. We felt immersed in the beauty and warmth of Sicily. Highly recommend this lovely spot for anyone looking to experience the best of the island!

Vi havde som en familie på 5 med 2 voksne drenge og en svigerdatter et fantastisk ophold fra den 12 - 19 oktober 2024. Lejligheden levede fuldt ud op til vores forventninger og det fungerede rigtig godt med de separate værelser. Vi var dog noget overrasket over manglende sol på terrassen der gjorde at det til tider var lidt koldt. Men det var også sidst på sæsonen. Vi brugte poolområdet og den private strand indtil solen var væk kl. 14:00. Marco var en fantastisk vært der modtog os og sørgede for at sætte os godt ind i boligen og omgivelserne.

Uns als Familie hat der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr gefallen. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Das Auto war nötig.

Wir wurden freundlich an der Rezeption empfangen. Das Appartament war wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Auf Nachfrage für einen Kinderstuhl, wurde extra ein neuer gekauft, da bisher keiner vorhanden war. Dies war super für unseren Aufenthalt. Der Pool und alles drum herum ist sehr schön und super gepflegt und sauber. Es gibt Getränke und Snacks an der Rezeption zu kaufen. Die Unterkünfte ist direkt an den Bahnschienen, welche auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern etwas zu hören waren, aber das hat uns nicht wwiter gestört.

The apartment exceeded my expectations and I think it is very good value. I especially appreciated how charming, large and spacious the apartment feels. High ceilings make the apartment feel bright and spacious. The location of the apartment is superb, not only very close to the beach, but also close to a supermarket, cafes, a patisserie, and specialty fish shop. Agatha provides details about all of these local gems upon arrival. The apartment is in the seaside town of Letojanni, a very short distance from Taormina. By staying in Letojanni, I think I benefit from a more peaceful, relaxing stay, while still easily reaching Taormina for sightseeing. Agatha is a superb host in every way. Timely communication via the AirBnB app, a very kind in person greeting upon arrival and departure made me feel welcomed and at home. The local recommendations were perfect. Thank you Agatha for helping to make my visit to Letojanni so memorable!

We had an amazing stay at Sergio’s place in Sicily. Honestly, the listing doesn’t even begin to capture how special and beautiful the house is. The location is unbeatable—just seconds from the marina—and you can see the sea from almost every corner of the home. There are multiple terraces and seating areas, and the house itself is incredibly spacious. One of our favorite things was the well-equipped kitchen, which made cooking a real pleasure. Sergio was also super responsive and communicative throughout our stay. He left a very detailed guide full of fantastic restaurant recommendations and local tips, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

We liked the location and spaciousness of the accomodation. The roof terrace with extra cooking facilities is a lovely extra space. It was well equipped with everything needed and Salvotore left us some extras such as prosecco, coffee which was appreciated. he also sent us a guide of the local area which we used and was very helpful. It is easy to get to Taormina from here and we also had a car and visited Etna alone with the use of his recommendations. We would stay again.

When you opened the doors you looked out on the sea! It was a really nice place in a beautiful location. If you are wanting to visit Catania and Taormina this a great place between each of those cities. . It was also close to Mt. Etna. The host was also very helpful and responded right away to any need or request that we had.

Excellent condo, very clean, well appointed, beautiful views, and comfortable with split AC units in living area and both bedrooms to keep cool at night. Very close walk to Isola Bella beach area. Close walk to funicular that takes you up to Taormina town, and restaurants are also a close walk way. Note that funicular costs $6 per person one way up to the town, and $10 roundtrip...a bit pricey for such a short ride. It is a relatively easy walk down the mountain from Taormina back to the beach area and condo though, so recommend doing that and getting a little exercise on the way down. Walkway drops you right near the condo. Parking is easy in the gated condo community, so car is in a safe area. Would definitely recommend this place for your stay in Taormina.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Andrea's place. Magda greeted us upon arrival with open arms...Made us feel part of the family. The owners of the restaurants and businesses were very helpful if we had any questions about the local area. The grocery store located next door made it very easy if we needed anything and the pharmacy was located a few blocks away. The bus station attendant was extremely helpful in getting us to the apartment since T-mobile didn't load my data plan correctly (extremely important to remember for our next trip). She also set us up days later on a harbor tour and a bus (to and from) tour Taormina. The only drawback is the parking situation. Just be aware it is stressful to find a place to park and worry about it. The parking areas suggested by google were closed (maybe seasonal) We parked close to bus pick up point 4 blocks away or wake up at 2am and move close to the apartment. The view from the balcony over-rides any problems. FAVOLOSO

Staying at Maria’s place in Sicily was truly unforgettable. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had the most breathtaking view—facing both the sea and majestic Mount Etna. One night, we were lucky enough to witness Etna erupting from the balcony. It felt like something out of a movie—absolutely magical and awe-inspiring. The restaurant in walking distance opens at 19:00 every day and serves amazing sea food and pizza at a good price. Maria was a warm and attentive host, always available for anything we needed, and she gave us great local tips that made our stay even more special. The location was perfect for exploring the area, yet peaceful enough to just relax and soak in the beauty. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Sicily!
