The Fox Den is a small-but-cute suite in S. Main next to the bouldering park. It faces an actual fox den—which is how it got its name. It's a 2-minute walk to the Arkansas River, where you’ll find miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. You'll also be just a block from the South Main Square and a short stroll from the shops and restaurants of downtown BV. A wonderful place for couples, friends, and solo travelers to relax and adventure in the woods of the rocky mountains in a comfortable modern cabin with window walls and great views over the mountains. Each deckhouse side has two floor to ceiling windows on both sides which open a view over a valley of forest and mountains. Each side (north and south) is private (no shared walls or entrance) but patio is shared. Secluded by national forest on 3 sides but <15 mins to downtown Salida, CO.

Our rural setting is beautiful in every season, offering views of the mountain valley as well as direct access to fishing easements on the Arkansas River. This space is most comfortably used by 2 adults with children, or 3 adults sharing the suite.
