Feel like you’re ‘escaping from it all’ while still being within striking distance of neighbouring towns. The area is also popular with Game of Thrones fans, and we are in a prime location to visit all the hot spots like “The Dark Hedges” Kings Road, Cushendun Caves, Murlough Bay, and Ballintoy Harbour.

West Coast Scotland Holiday Cottage

Welcome to this peaceful, stone-built retreat on the stunning Kintyre Peninsula overlooking Islay and Jura and the Sound of Gigha. It is 5 minutes to Gigha and 20 minutes to Islay ferries. Perfect for couples, walkers, cyclists and remote workers, this pet-friendly getaway offers sweeping coastal views, a bright conservatory, and the comforts you may need—including off road parking, Wi-Fi, an EV charger and a log burner. It is a 10 minute walk to the shore and 10 from Beacharr standing stone.

Welcome to Ballochroy Cottage. A former stables, our delightfully cosy one bedroom cottage is located in beautiful Kintyre. Spectacular scenery, tranquil walks, amazing wildlife and wild swimming are all on your doorstep. The perfect spot to unwind and recharge whether relaxing in the garden with views over Jura, Islay and Gigha or warming your toes by the fire after a long day exploring the peninsula. The cottage is in a rural location about 3 miles from Clachan, 4 miles from Tayinloan.

Tangy Lodge, Relaxing Coastal Home, Amazing View

Tangy Lodge is located right by the coast, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind for the whole family. Just a 10 minute drive from Campbeltown and 1 mile away from Westport beach (famous for its fantastic surfing), the area is known for its traditional whisky distilleries, outstanding scenery and the classic song "Mull of Kintyre". The lodge is also ideal for a golfing getaway, with 5 courses nearby and Machrihanish being known for having the best opening hole in the world.

The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Sea Breeze East - open fire & views of the Clyde

Located in the north Arran village of Lochranza, this house is an ideal jumping off place for hiking, visiting Arran’s attractions or for a day-trip to Kintyre. By day, enjoy watching the yachts come and go and catch sight of some of Arran’s wildlife. In the evening, cozy up in front an open fire after taking in one of Arran’s long sunsets. Please note the property may not be suitable for children under 5 and I don't provide any baby/child equipment (eg stair gates).

The Steading @braighbhaille

A beautiful, recently refurbished one-bedroom private stone cottage, The Steading is a self-contained cottage just across the courtyard from our main house. It benefits from a lovely setting amongst the Scottish countryside with glorious views across Loch Fyne, and has many unique features. There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

Apartment Mafeking Place

Apartment is in an excellent location, just a few steps away from local restaurants, cafes, and pubs. Bus station 2 minutes walk. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, allowing you to admire beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Please note that the apartment is at the very top of the building and there is no elevator. However, the view from the windows makes up for any difficulties in climbing.

Ideally situated on the three distillery pathway and less than a mile from the fishing village of port Ellen where shops, restaurants and bars are located. Walking distance from ferry terminal makes it the perfect base for your Islay experience.

Silverbank, Whiting Bay

Silverbank, built by Captain Patterson in 1770 has been fully refurbished over the past two years. It commands a prominent position in the town of Whiting Bay with its long sweeping lawn to the front. A newly installed deck to the front and 7 person hot tub has recently been installed May ‘24.
