This beautiful cottage on the lake was just beautiful! Brenda thought of every little detail (right down to tweezers)! I even took notes on how to set up our guest room space! It was cold, but we still had a great stay! I will say the beds are very firm so bring a mattress pad if that’s not your jam. I am so sad this cottage is all booked up for Summer! We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cottage, and it was indeed a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The charming and well-maintained cottage offers a perfect blend of comfort and tranquility. From the moment I arrived, I felt at ease, surrounded by peaceful surroundings and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The outdoor space was perfect for enjoying my morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. Whether you're looking for a quiet retreat or a base for exploring the area, the Cozy Cottage is an excellent choice. I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway!

Fantastic getaway for group of friends. Atmosphere and property was exactly what we needed and a good value. Very clean, updated, and had the amenities to make it a very enjoyable stay.

I will 100% be staying here when warmer weather comes and bring the family with us. Our stay was in the dead of winter and for Valentine’s Day, the host left us champagne and other little gifts that were such great touches. It’s the little things. We loved watching people ice fish on the Canadian lake and walk out onto the lake. 8 inches of snow on top of the frozen over lake is a bucket list to do! I can’t thank the host enough, or employee anyone to stay here at anytime of the year!

We loved this quaint cabin! It’s off the beaten path and feels very secluded, yet it’s close to everything! The stairs to the beach are worth the trip if you’re physically able. The heaters work well to keep you warm at night. And the fireplace is fabulous! Comfy, cozy, clean and beautiful views! Thanks for having us!

My 10-year-old and I had a great time catching fish in the pond and playing board games. We plan to come back!

Deer in back yard was a delight

We stayed during the "off" season so lots of activities, shops and places to eat were closed. We didn't mind too much because we were looking for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It has to be amazing during the warmer months when you can take advantage of being outside and in the water. Since the house is right on the lake, we had beautiful views. I was lucky enough to catch an amazing sunrise. "The Sandlot" was exactly what you think of when you think family lakehouse. Rustic, cozy and charming. It felt very homey. The house was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed. The only issue we had were so many trips up and down the stairs. If you have any mobility issues like me, (bad knee) then you must be careful on the stairs. They can be kind of slippery in socks.

Cheryl’s home was great for our family with young grandchildren. The sand provided hours of building and pretending fun. The sandy beach and shallow water depth was perfect for all the children from 2-8. They really loved jumping off the dock. The kayaks and paddle boats gave us time on the water. The large level grassy backyard was excellent for softball and tag. The bunk room was great for the grandkids to sleep together, leaving 4 bedrooms for adults. There was a pack n Play and a high chair for the youngest. There were many toys and games to play. The house hade cute decore with special touches to welcome us everywhere. We also appreciated the washer and dryer. The leather sectional was cozy for all of us. We also loved the fire pit for s’mores in the evening. We would like to have had more beach seating. The last two plastic Adirondack chairs were fatally cracked. I’m sure those are on Cheryl’s list to replace soon. Thank you for sharing your home with us Cheryl.

This is our 3rd year staying at Alan’s lakeside cottage and yet again the best place to stay in Canadian Lakes! Beautiful views, clean, cozy and comfortable home. Love that it’s dog friendly and our pups love the beach and lake! We love the new bathroom remodels! Highly recommend.

Melissa was super responsive. This home was the perfect place for our active family and bc it had very few stairs we were able to bring my 87 y.o. Mom along for the trip! We rented their boat, borrowed golf clubs, golf cart, volleyball, marshmallow sticks etc. They had everything! Even an outdoor shower - so fun!

We had a wonderful peaceful stay. The location was great and having a private beach area was amazing. The lack was a bit mucky right by the dock. We took advantage of the amenities the resort offered.

Fantastic home in a beautiful quiet neighborhood. Lots of amenities. The hot tub was amazing! The view to the lake was beautiful. Lots of thoughtful details, like plentiful towels. Nicole was a great host. Would love to return in summer or fall to fully experience the natural beauty of Michigan and make use of more of the amenities.

What a little gem of a place! Truly was an enjoyable place to stay and met all our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here especially during the summer months when you can take advantage of all the amenities like the beautiful in ground pool in the backyard.

This house was great! Had everything we needed plus some. Loved how they had extra sheets, blankets & toiletries in every room. Especially loved the laundry baskets in rooms. Helped us and the kids stay organized. House was clean ready at check in. Loved that they provided bikes, toys, games & passes for the pool! It was a very quiet community which was exactly what we needed! We would highly recommend this house for a getaway!

We stay in airbnbs often. This was by far the best in all categories we have ever been. Response time was amazing, all amenities present and little to no thought was needed by us for what we needed. Everything from toilet paper, paper towels, coffee etc was present. We enjoyed every moment and created many precious memories with our family. It is obvious a lot of thought went into this space and even with little kids things were perfect! We felt safe and had plenty of space for the amount of people present. So welcoming and clean.

Beautiful home in Beautiful setting. Hart is not a huge town, but is centrally located between Grand Haven, Silver Lake/Mears, and Ludington so we did one day in each.

Kristi’s Airbnb was so clean and welcoming. Beautiful lakefront spot and my husband & I felt we didn’t even need to leave during our getaway because we had so much fun just being there! I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Loved, loved, loved this house & the location! Beautiful view of Lake Michigan from the front porches (top & bottom). Neighborhood is wonderful for walking on the beach, close to the channel and close to the Deck. (The Deck is great for a fun evening of live music & eats!) The house had everything we needed. Loved the decor & cozy touches (lots of throw blankets for curling up when it’s cool!). The downstairs bedroom with two queen beds & a loft bed & a large tv was terrific for a late night family hang-out after the Deck but not wanting to miss our team playing college football. This house truly deserves its 5-star rating. Everything about it hit the mark & Taylor is a very responsive host. We would definitely stay here again!

This house was just as great as the pictures. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and taking in the lake views all day long. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Also the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. As we were traveling with 2 children under the age of 2, we enjoyed having the baby equipment available. The baby gates were very necessary with all the stairs. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

This house is simply awesome! Makes a week at the lake easy and fun to have a private beach steps away, and a killer setup to enjoy nightly sunsets. Well-equipped kitchen and spacious for family fun. Also a great location for outings - easy to get to both grand haven and holland as well as tons of local parks and beaches. A special find!

Our stay at Sarah's place was fantastic. Location in the high dunes overlooking Lake Michigan was phenomenal! Decor & vibe of the house was beach themed and we felt right at home from the moment we walked through the door. We took full advantage of expansive outside eating options eating meals & doing happy hour overlooking the shore line. She had numerous fun water activity options including kayaks, float, & beach chairs. We were in the water every day taking advantage of the fresh water (we are used to salt water since we live near an ocean). Amenities in the house were top notch with every possible kitchen utensil you would ever need. We were in town for a family wedding & had 6 family members who had flown in from Boston & LA which was an easy drive from GRR. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out & feel comfortable yet excellent hang out spaces so we could be together as a family. We would love to come back & we highly recommend Sarah's home as she was an awesome host!

The location right on the beach is unbeatable. Stairs lead you down to the most beautiful soft sandy beach that is private and secluded for just your family. We stopped feeling like we needed to visit other beaches in the area because we felt like we had the best one in our own backyard. The house was clean and comfortable, well stocked with essentials and lots of games and cards as well. The spiral staircase gave us a workout, but definitely doable if you can handle stairs. The area felt very safe. We would love to return!
