Ewan Bàn - The ultimate Gypsy Caravan experience

A hand built robust gypsy caravan, sleeps 2 built on a traditional French "Roulotte" design, well heated and insulated. Tucked away in the trees on our croft Ewan Ban is the perfect romantic getaway. A separate shower and compost toilet minimise carbon footprint. The double "box bed" is at the far end from the living / dining / kitchen area. WiFi means you can stay in touch, we recommend a complete IT detox to enjoy the full benefits of this unique space. French windows open out onto a verandah.

Our croft offers a lovely hideaway immersed within the wild and sparsely populated landscapes of the Pairc area of Lewis. Open all year round the Sheiling provides an excellent adventure base for exploring the islands. Come and stay with us as a base for your exploration of the Isles of Lewis and Harris. Stay on our working croft and experience daily life and learn more about our livestock, environment and wildlife.

Tucked in the glen of the tiny township of Clachamish, Shepherds Hut #1 is one of a pair of cosy hideaways at An Croit. An ideal rural retreat to access the delights of the north of the Misty Isle. Surrounded by nature & stunning views, this is the opportunity to escape the pressures of busy lives, there is no internet or TV. Shepherd's Hut S/C

On the Skye Trail, Shepherd's hut with magnificent views of the Cuillins, and the island of Rum. Nearby boat trips take you to the islands of Rum, Canna and Loch Coruisk. There is a local pod at the pier and café at village hall serving coffees, cakes etc. seafood sandwiches and ice-cream, weather permitting. The Elgol Bistro sells takeaway food, and is a licensed restaurant. Supermarkets, petrol, diesel and numerous restaurants are in nearby Broadford (15 miles)

Traditional Shepherds Hut set on our Croft here at 40 Bernisdale. Sited in a rural setting just 9 miles from the islands main town , Portree , Cooking Facilities, King Bed, wood burning stove, Private Bathroom in the Hut. Stable Door, outdoor seating, parking. Great welcome pack, milk, eggs, bread, plus the usual teas, coffees, jams, butter, salt, pepper, olive oil. All Natural toiletries to use during your stay. We cant wait to have people enjoy this beautiful space. 2 NIGHT MINIMUM x

A Beautiful Gypsy Caravan in Arisaig

We open May to September. 'Flora' is a beautiful gypsy caravan (with a great comfy double bed) and is set in the lovely garden of the Old Manse in the lovely village of Arisaig. Surrounded by bamboo and trees and facing west for stunning sunsets. Outside enjoy a hot shower in the gas-fired shower hut, a composting toilet hut and the 'exclusive' use of a fantastic 12 seater BBQ hut. Guests can also enjoy sitting by the pond. Guests are within walking distance of Arisaig village and seafront.
