Aird Villa with its south facing decking is said to be one of the nicest houses on the Isle of Scalpay. It sits overlooking Scalpay’s quiet North Harbour where the local fishing boats are moored. From the decking it's exhilarating watching the birds & boats as you are more or less right above the water's edge. The house has been renovated to a very high standard and is comfortable, light, spacious & warm. It has a modern clean feeling coupled with the charm of a traditional Scalpay island home.

Whether sitting outside on the balcony or from the comfort of the open plan living-room with full height cathedral windows, you can enjoy the gorgeous sea views and spectacular sunsets whatever the weather. Near Byre @ 20 Lochbay (Self-Catering )

Fabulous self-catering apartment for 2 people (+1 small/medium sized dog). This 18th Century cow byre has been lovingly restored by the owners, retaining the original stone walls. An ideal space to get away from it all, enjoy peace and quiet in front of a wood-burning stove, whilst taking in the amazing views from Lochbay to the Outer Hebrides. When you arrive at The Mangersta Pod you will find yourself in an extremely clean and comfortable haven. To ensure you have a good night's sleep the camping mattresses were replaced by a comfortable mattress right from the start. Each pod is open plan with a kitchenette, seating dining, sleeping area and shower room. 3/4 bed and sofa-bed provides accommodation for up to 4. It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

Gael is a modern cabin on a working croft, which captures uninterrupted views over Portree bay, Ben Tianavaig and the Cuillin hills in the far distance. The cabin itself has a full height atrium which includes a functional kitchenette, seating area, log-burner and a three-piece bathroom suite. The mezzanine level is accessed by a wooden staircase featuring a comfortable double bed. Situated just off the Scorrybreach trail this is the perfect launchpad for your Skye adventure.

The Little Hemp Cabin

The Little Hemp Cabin sits on our croft in Breakish, just outside Broadford in South Skye. It’s a small, self-contained space surrounded by open ground, big skies and shifting Highland weather. Built from hemp and timber, the cabin feels naturally warm and calm. The walls regulate temperature well, so it stays comfortable year-round without feeling sealed or artificial. Inside, the layout is simple and uncluttered, with everything you need and nothing you don’t.

The Wee Wooden Yurt at Caolas Gallery is a green roofed, original wooden round house with picture windows giving an uninterrupted view of the sea across to the Isle of Scalpay and South East Harris.
