Perfect location if your wanting to wind down from a busy week at work, cabin was lovely especially the hot-tub and morning view, Darren was an overall great host would certainly recommend.

Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

I booked this for my partners birthday weekend away and we came with our dog for 2 nights at the end of Mar. Ellie was a great host, she was quick and easy to communicate with and made sure we all felt welcome and even decorated the lodge for my partners bday. We had a wonderful time, the lodge was well equipped and cosy, the hot tub was perfect especially at night and the area was very peaceful with some stunning views so all in all just what we needed. We really enjoyed our time here and my partner loved it for her birthday weekend away - we would be looking to come back in the future. I would highly recommend this lodge for anyone who is looking to book. P.s we decided to tackle Scafell pike which was around 25mins away - do not recommend doing on a wet and windy day as I thought i was going to die

Had the best stay at Austin lodge ! Everything was immaculate very cosy and worth every penny. Lennox and Leah always responded very quickly and were able to answer every question I had. Location was perfect had lovely wooded walks and not too far from centre. Will most definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here! Sarah & Mark were amazing hosts. They were very friendly and helpful when needed. The place itself was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful, with the most beautifu view ofl sunset over the sea I've ever seen - defo reccomend sitting in the hot tub whilst the sun goes down if you stay here. Overall, probably one of the nicest air b&b we've stayed in!

We had an absolute peaceful stay at this stunning wigwam. The location is perfect & the wigwam is kitted out with everything you will need. The hot tub was amazing & the hosts couldn’t be anymore helpful! We cannot wait to come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A beautiful cabin. There was a gorgeous walk to the beach and in the forest. We saw deer on our walk and the river was beautiful. Dog friendly, and my dog was super smiley the whole time! The hot rob was cleaned whilst we were there and was lovely and warm. Unfortunately we weren’t blessed with great weather, but even so, there was plenty to do! The cabin was immaculate, although some extra bin bags would have been useful as there was only one small bin outside and we were there for three nights. I also found that the cutlery and plates weren’t super clean as they leave the last people staying to clean these. Overall a wonderful stay, super relaxing and quiet. The hosts were helpful and replied quickly. Would definitely recommend!

From the initial booking to leaving Gillian was great! On arrival Gillian was waiting for us to check in and show us around the lodge and how everything worked. The lodge was spotless and felt like a home from home. Gillian had left a welcome pack full of goodies & Prosecco in the fridge! The beds were so comfortable, pillows were amazing and all the linen was of a high quality. If you enjoy walking/biking this is the perfect location as the woods to the rear of the property are beautiful. We will 100% be back at Glenisle Lodge, so much so we have already inquired about a 2nd stay!

Fantastic stay at the sea cubby! A perfect place to recharge and relax, with amazing views, wildlife and lovely accommodation. It was a perfect size for us. Additionally, the cubby has been kitted out with helpful items that you need whilst away - tea, coffee, lovely linen and plenty of great local recommendations which we tried out. The place was super cosy as well considering the coastal location. Would love to come back.

We had a fabulous experience staying in your caravan!! It was extremely clean and the owners were quick to respond at all times and were overall just lovely!! We are extremely happy with our stay and would recommend to others. We hope to come back soon!!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this stunning location. What an amazing experience and we could not have asked for a better stay! Superb memories were created here for us and our dogs! A stunning walk through the woods and into Ballantrae, 7 miles there and back but loads of wildlife to see and we would recommend. Lindsay and Chris were exceptional hosts and just lovely people! We cannot think of a better break that we have all enjoyed and cannot wait to return!

This is a lovely cosy place to stay, very peaceful location in beautiful surroundings. The lodge itself is very comfortable and has everything you need. Beds were particularly comfortable. Very warm if you need it to be and lovely seating to sit and watch TV. Outdoor seating for the good weather. Highly recommend!

Caravan was immaculate and had everything you needed. Was really homely and cosy. Nice short walk into town which had lovely dog friendly places to eat and drink. The hill going up to the caravan was very slippy as it had been raining, i had slipped on wet moss going out one morning so just to warn people to be mindful of this. Would definately return as we had a lovely stay.

When we arrived we really appreciated the free banana loaf, was a lovely touch, so much so we bought another! We really appreciated the free wood for the fire too, it was lovely and cosy. Lucy was very responsive and helpful should we have needed anything. My second time there and loved it again. And Nellie was for coming home with us in the car, and my fox red Hector was more than happy for that to happen

We enjoyed our stay here, Rachel met us to check us in and show us where everything was. She had lots of recommendations for local places to eat and walk around and the shortbread and wine was a lovely touch.

se fosse stato possibile sarei rimasta nella casetta per molto più tempo. ma sfortunatamente le vacanze iniziano e finiscono. la piccola casa era perfetta per scappare dalla città ed immergersi in una splendida parentesi fatta di fiori, uccelli e api. Robert è stato super gentile e ha cotto per noi una profumata pagnotta ai cereali. sono stati giorni bellissimi.

What made this Airbnb special is all the little thoughtful extras like providing tea, coffee and milk, dog treats, insects repellent etc. Made us feel very welcome. You can tell the host cares about her guest's stay. The lodge is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped even has an airfryer and coffee pod machine! We loved the Highland Coo theme and think it should continue into the bedrooms. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us for our stay but we still managed to have a good time despite all the rain. We got to go on the loch for watersports on our last day. Which the boys loved! We also enjoyed the little golf course in-between the rain forecasts. And took advantage of the pool on site. We also loved the hot tub. The veranda unfortunately we only got to use for a couple hours before the heavens opened again. But better weather this would the perfect place to sit and chill overlooking those stunning views. All in all we would definitely recommend Top lodge.

Lovely caravan in a holiday park with everything you need. I highly recommend. Caravan itself is clean spacious and comfy. Wish we booked longer stay.

An amazing place with the most fantastic views and so very peaceful. It was the perfect place to head out to climb Scafell from as the hot tub was a welcome luxury after the day. We will be staying again.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cabin in Ravenglass! The location is perfect—peaceful, scenic, and a great base for exploring the Lake District. We did a lot of hiking in the local area and were blown away by the natural beauty right on our doorstep. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and full of charm. It had everything we needed to relax after long days out walking, and we really appreciated the attention to detail throughout. It felt like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, this is the perfect spot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return!
