Amazing stay! The view was beautiful, beds were comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. ☺️

Nadene and Darren's place is absolutely amazing. Away from everything in the woods surrounded by nature, this place is bliss. The property has 12 individual rooms, 2 large shared kitchens and bathrooms, an amazing spacious seating area overlooking the forest, and a balcony. There are many books available and some board games, so there's something for everyone. You can stay here with a large group but we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. The place is close to the lake where you can go canoeing or kayaking, and all the gear is provided. There is also a nice seating area outside for campfires, and / or you can just go for a little hike. Nadene prepares a great breakfast with homemade muffins 😋. Both her and Darren are lovely people, very caring, beautiful souls. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was great from start to finish. Best part was the fire pit right on the beach which we utilized and had the whole beach to ourselves after sunset. 😊

Overall good. Might be a one off but I had loud neighbour's who blasted their music all day and night until they went to bed.

I just spent 5 nights at Darren and Nadene's place, and it was wonderful. The room was just fabulous and so spacious.....a friend took one of the rooms next to mine and we had our own bathroom, kitchen and a beautifully spacious common room. It is a great place to stay, quiet and comfortable. Nadene's muffin for breakfast was a highlight for sure, and we had a couple of small issues which she was more than willing to help us sort out. I would highly recommend their place for anyone traveling in the area.

Absolutely love the property. He has a 10 acre land with own private lake, trail, sports field and much more. The cottage is beautiful and aptly described in the pictures. The owner is extremely friendly and very nice. 100% will come back next time I and here. PS- The area is secluded so please get food.

Nous avons passé un super voyage à la taverne BongoPix ! Bongo est un super hôte, très réactif à toutes nos demandes et ils nous a permis d’avoir un super séjour. Nous étions 4 dans la chambre qui était plutôt spacieuse et très confortable. La salle de bain était très propre et grande. Nous avons aussi pu profiter de la taverne, où l’ambiance est très bonne et conviviale. Nous avons vécu une expérience unique car une tempête dans la zone a causé une extinction d’électricité qui a été super bien gérée par Bongo et qui a rendu la soirée un peu magique. Pour résumer, pour une expérience unique et conviviale autour du parc Algonquin, foncez chez bongopix !

Bongo’s place was an amazing experience. Room was spotless with a comfortable bed. View from the veranda for morning coffee was beautiful. Bonus with this room is their tavern right underneath. My wife and I shared a delicious charcuterie board and tasted several of Andrea’s drinks, all while Bongo’s live music entertained us all. We definitely recommend Bongopix and will be back for sure.

Darren and Nadene provided me with exactly what I needed! A gorgeous place with so much peace and quiet! Nadene made me breakfast in the morning which was such a lovely time to enjoy a bite to eat and great company! I’ll be back!
