Little Springfield is a lovely place; extremely comfortable and well equipped, a beautiful view and everything you need for a wonderful stay. The area around is beautiful, very close to Bude and the coast path but private and quiet.

Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

What a lovely escape this was! We had everything we needed for a cosy night in, before exploring the nearby coastline the next day. A great little gem and we were very happy with the well thought out set up.

Stephen was so accommodating and helpful , a brilliant host. The accommodation is fab, my 11 year old daughter and I stayed and it was cosy and comfortable. It is located on a gorgeous camp site which is home to lots of peacocks 🦚 which was lovely. We used the accommodation as a base to see my son and friends near Padstow throughout each day, so we didn’t sit around much or even turn the TV on! But we enjoyed it and will definitely return . grateful for a lovely stay. Huge thanks.

I couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Came down for two nights and it was so peaceful and charming that we stayed for three. Juliet was really helpful throughout, the well stocked kitchen was a pleasant suprise and made the stay a dream, and waking up in that beautiful secluded little space with the birds singing was such a welcome break from out London home. The whole space felt very private and you can really relax there. It's not the easiest place to find, but Juliet's instructions were very helpful. We will definitely stay again if we're around the area Thanks Juliet!

Very cosy secluded shepherds hut with a stunning view over the valley. The hot tub takes a few hours to warm up which is to be expected, but once warm it's absolutely perfect to relax in for the evening. While small, the shepards hut has everything you need for a quiet weekend away and the bed is warm and comfortable. Local towns are a twenty minute drive away so close enough to find somewhere for food or supplies, but you're in the sticks enough that we didn't see anyone other than the farmer on the other side of the valley.

The Cabin was SO special! I stayed with my 3 kids and they absolutely loved it. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay, it was super comfortable and stylish and a lovely short walk into town by the river. Beds v comfy and lovely little veranda for sitting in the sunshine!

This is one of the most beautiful, idylic places I have stayed in. The incredible views, the privacy, and the beautiful cabin itself were all perfect. Lucy is such a lovely host, and you can tell the care and thought involved in making the stay special, from the little treats and prosecco on arrival, to the welcome message and the fantastic communication. Everything was honestly amazing, I'd recommend Rosies Retreat to anyone and I'll absolutely be back!

Great getaway for us as a family of 4. Great to have all the animals, swings and games to play around us for the kids to be occupied and gave us time to relax in the setting around us. Truck was very comfy and was a great place to stay.

Nathan and his mother in law was brilliant, very helpful and lovely surroundings. We had a brilliant time and very relaxed.

What a beautiful cabin and location. The facilities were perfect and my stay was amazing. Jonathan and his partner were so friendly and helpful. Already rebooked.

we had a lovely nights stay in the shepherds hut and only wish we could have stayed longer!! it was so peaceful, located in a beautiful part of Devon, and had everything we needed. if we had any questions or concerns then we knew jackie was there, but she seemed to think of everything :) highly recommend!

We had a beautiful bank holiday weekend stay at the shepherds hut. It is exactly as described and in a great location. We went on some really lovely walks with the dog. Danielle was a great host, easy to contact and quick to respond. She also provided lots of different walks to go on and places to go, however after our walk we just enjoyed chilling out at the hut for the rest of the day as it was so nice and private and surrounded by a lovely woodland which our dog loved and the hot tub was a great addition that us humans loved. We would definitely stay again and hopefully will very soon.

We had a lovely weekend in the Little House. Ali and her husband were excellent hosts - great communication and very helpful - even giving us a lift to the wedding we were attending. Would highly recommend this rental.

Lovely place. Very clean and beautiful. Friendly hosts. Not far from the beach. Highly recommended. Definitely will come back.

Stayed here for an early bank holiday celebrating my wife's birthday, we absolutely loved the place, the surrounding garden area was absolutely beautiful and very private/peaceful, the accommodation had everything we needed for a short stay with a very comfortable bed and nice hot shower. The hottub was obviously the highlight and we were both very sad to get out for the final time. Location was also very good, walking distance to both the train station, supermarket (Lidl) and the town centre. Although I grew up in Devon, I don't recall spending anytime here in Teignmouth but we had a great time exploring both the town and took a boat across the Shaldon one of the days also. Would highly recommend staying here for a nice and relaxing getaway.

Had a lovely peaceful stay . Lovely chatting with Dave and learning about the business , their family and all about the area . Horse box bathroom was fantastic. Our daughter and her partner can’t wait to visit in July . Would likely return

We had an excellent stay in the wood fire cabin (despite the rain!). Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed at the torvale shack for my birthday was amazing. Loved the design and the set up. And chilling in the hot tub. Will be a place I will always come to when I need my chilled time away. We definitely recommend to friends and family 🙂

What a fantastic stay we had. We arrived to glorious sunshine. The hut was lovely and clean and we received the most generous selection of food and drinks. Although compact the hut had everything we needed, lots of kitchen equipment, plenty of towels and toiletries. As the weather was so nice we lazed in the swing chair listening to the birds, ate outside after cooking on the outdoor kitchen. We had the most delicious cream tea provided which we enjoyed on the decking. We didn't need to light the fire as it was plenty warm enough, but everything was provided if we had needed it. Shower lovely and hot. Beautiful views and really peaceful. Maria messaged to make sure we were okay and to shout if we needed anything. A gorgeous spot, close to plenty of attractions etc. We have stayed in lots of similar places but Maria really stands out as a host with all the things that are provided. Fantastic value and a perfect stay. Thank you.

Great stay! Even though it was rainy the first half of our stay it was still an incredibly peaceful and cosy place to be. Everything was as described and we were close to walks/bays/supermarket and had everything we needed. Outdoor shower is a highlight for sure! Definitely coming back

If we could give 10 stars we would! The location was perfect, cabin was beautiful and the view was breathtaking! Angela was so welcoming and helpful and made us feel at home. Relaxing in the outside tub with an amazing view was a one of a kind experience, and also being visited by the cats and dogs made the trip ever better! Will most definitely be visiting again, thank you very much!
