This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Sleepy Mutchilba is on the historical wheelbarrow run to Chillagoe, popular for it's limestone caves and unique escarpments. Fully self contained with with a queen bed and double sofa bed. Plenty of room to park a Caravan with a high carport. Take a walk around our 80 acre farm. Watch the sun go down with a cold one and spin a few yarns around the fire pit.
