Nice house with everything you need and on an amazing location with views on the mountains and lake. We even saw the northern lights!

We had a really good time. Rita put a lot of love in this house. We were looking for something quite and we were not disappointed. We slept better than anywhere else. It is the perfect place to relax. And what was really nice as well: Thanks to Rita we found a boat to rent and could catch our dinner and spend some good time on the water. We even saw some little whales. The rocks not far from the harbor are good to catch Makrele. The little supermarket is not far away and you get everything you need to survive. :) If you want to have a bit more choice (especially of fruits and vegetables) you should buy it at a bigger store on the way to Salsbruket. Rita was always super quick in replying our questions.

Ida and Torstein are amazing hosts. They showed us the area, shared the history of the place and recommended beautiful hikes around. The house is charming and has plenty of genuine details, which made us curious about the place we had a pleasure to stay in. One can find everything what is needed in the house: kitchen equipment, stunning view from windows, cozy fireplace and positive vibes of slowing down 🥰 The place is definitely highly recommended! One of my top 5 airbnb stays across the globe, The location is an absolute gem. Nestled in a serene and private setting, it offered the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The peace and quiet were truly restorative. What truly set this property apart was the abundance of activities available. We thoroughly enjoyed spending our days fishing in the nearby lake, leisurely rowing on the water, and engaging in friendly competition with the provided board games, BBQ in the evenings. As night fell, the lack of light pollution made for breathtaking stargazing when the skys are clear. Truly a recommended place.

We had a wonderful stay at Julia’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and feels just like home. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and BBQs, and our kids loved exploring the nearby forest and relaxing by the bonfire. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway and scenic hikes. Sadly, the weather kept us from using the kayak and SUP, but we still had a great time. Highly recommended!

Es war eine ganz tolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist so wie beschrieben. Die Lage am Fjord bzw. eigentlich schon im Fjord ist absolut Herausragend. Der Joker Supermarkt direkt vor der Tür wo man einfach alles für das tägliche Leben bekommen kann ist einfach unbeschreiblich praktisch. Wer ein paar schöne Tage am Wasser/Fjord verbringen möchte ist hier genau richtig.

Stille og rolig område. Gåavstand til sentrum og høyskole. Leiligheten var heilt topp, kjem gjerne igjen.

It was a great stay for halfway between Oslo and Bergen. Roomy and kitchen was well stocked with essentials.

Rune was very helpful with finding a last minute accommodation for us when (due to circumstances) we had to change our travel schedule. The apartment has amazing views - highly recommended for travellers who seek solitude and tranquility.

Amazing find! This place is absolutely magical— even better than the pictures! Being right on a fjord was a unique experience. The location is convenient, just a short ride to the heart of Bergen. Although our stay was brief, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend this cozy accommodation to anyone seeking a memorable getaway!

Perfect spot for exploring Oslo. Is a pedestrian area so you may have a little walk with cases but it’s worth it as very quiet spot with lovely view over the bay. Loads of restaurants around so loads of meal options within a few mins walk. Apartment is clean and well maintained and comfy. We were a family with two young boys and they were safe and loved watching their shows on Netflix on the big tv. Second bedroom is small but fine for young kids.

Great place to stay with all amenities in place. Ingun as a host was very warm and helpful. I would recommend this place for groups of 6 or more who would want to stay close to nature 😊

Jorun hatte schon viele Gäste in ihrem Haus auf Sommaroy. Wie alle Gäste vor uns auch,kann ich nur von Herzen bestätigen was für eine tolle Gastgeberin Jorun ist und wie wohl wir uns von Anfang bis Ende in ihrem Haus gefühlt haben!!!!! Auch bei einer Anreise die wetterbedingt alles andere als glatt verlaufen ist ,stand sie uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite, vielen Dank dafür;) Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen, zum einen um Joruns Gastfreundschaft noch einmal zu genießen und zum anderen um eine zweite Chance zu bekommen die Polarlichter doch noch sehen zu können, was dieses mal leider nicht der Fall war. What a wonderful house in a perfect peaceful location great for exploring Andøya.

Tor is the best host because he us thoughtful, helpful, and caring. Our family loved our snow days in his home because it was warm, cozy, and felt like home. Tor provided some fish he caught from the fjord for us to have and it was wonderful. This is the best overall stay my family has had in 4 international vacations. We hope to return for summer. We all slept so well in the cozy beds. The views were unbelievable. We enjoyed playing cards and chess. Kitchen is very well stocked and grocery store is 10 minutes away. HIGHLY recommend Tor and his summer home.

Veldig fin plass. Heilt perfekt for barnefamiliar, med mykje å finne på for liten og stor. Nydeleg og skjerma plass, stille og roleg. Veldig hyggelege og hjelpsamme vertar. Vi kjem gjerne tilbake!

Nos alojamos en esta casa durante nuestra visita a Lofoten y fue perfecta. Está muy bien situada, a medio camino entre Reine y Svolvær, ideal para explorar la zona. La casa estaba impecable y equipada con todo lo necesario: toallas, lavadora/secadora, detergente, lavavajillas, bolsas de basura, aceite, sal, café… Incluso tenía cargador para coche eléctrico. Los sofás y las camas eran muy cómodos, y el entorno, precioso. Cristina y Rodrigo fueron anfitriones excepcionales: nos recomendaron planes y estuvieron siempre atentos, incluso cuando surgió un problema en la carretera por un desprendimiento de rocas. Si volvemos a Lofoten, sin duda repetiremos alojamiento. ¡Totalmente recomendable!
