This loft is situated on the north side of the town square in Newton, IL in one of Jasper County's oldest buildings. Two large bedrooms with 3 beds that will comfortably sleep 6, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room and onsite laundry await while you visit your family, hunt, are in town for work, or simply passing through. Located near the center of town, everything is easily accessible with a short drive or walk where you can try to spot our famous white squirrels!

Lake Cabin in the Woods

🌲Looking for a relaxing getaway? Need a peaceful stopover on your Midwestern travels? Craving tranquility in a remote setting? Look no further—Lake Cabin in the Woods is your perfect retreat! Nestled about 60 miles from both Effingham, IL and Evansville, IN, our cabin offers the solitude you’re seeking without being too far from major highways. Located between Interstate 70 and Interstate 64, it’s a serene escape with easy access to wherever your journey leads.

Forested Retreat

This is a nice spacious cabin in the woods right on the water. It has a covered front porch across the entire length of the cabin. There is one bedroom, a sleeping loft, living room, kitchen, dining area, and a bathroom with shower. The interior is all finished in beautiful native hardwood lumber. It is surrounded by large oak trees and has a pond right in front. It is set back approximately 300 ft from a public road which provides excellent privacy.

Day of Rest

This place is in a private, residential neighborhood but only a few blocks from businesses, shopping and restaurants. There are two small parks for children to play at, nearby. There is plenty of parking for multiple vehicles or a commercial truck/trailer. Bright outdoor LED lighting provides a safe atmosphere. This property is attached to a small venue. The venue has a full kitchen area that can be rented for an additional fee.

The Vault- 1800s National Bank 7 min off I-64

This historic bank, built in the 19th century has been vacant for many years, but we've restored it to its former glory. complete with the original walk in bank Vault . The Vault has a king and queen size bed, plus a rollaway bed with a memory foam mattress. We have another Airbnb, called The Citadel located upstairs. If you have a large family, you can book both places. Minors must be accompanied by an adult at both locations.

Chateau Monroe - Rustic feel / modern convenience

This 2 bedroom 1.5 bath home got a major facelift in 2020. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and has all the conveniences you could want. Hi-speed internet, washer & dryer, dishwasher, tankless water heater with endless hot water. 58" TV, even a record player. There are 2 bedrooms with a queen bed in each room. There is also a sectional that suits fine for a child or teen to crash on.

Bev's Country Cottage

A small quiet cottage off the beaten path, located only minutes from Newton Lake Fish and Wildlife Area. This is a great place for hunters, fishermen or just someone that wants to get away from the city. It has exactly what you need to enjoy a long weekend full of the great outdoors. As hosts we want our guest to enjoy their stay so we are available to help with anything.
