It is located on a beautiful one acre lot, filled with fruit trees, green grass, green geckos, and tropical birds. There are no neighbors..Only trees, birds and the quiet hush of the wind and very secluded and private yard. Bamboo Bungalow

Our slice of paradise sits on 1 acre of manicured tropical orchard with over 40 varieties of fruit trees, a giant stand of bamboo, hundreds of orchids and herbs. Newly constructed unattached studio cottage with canopy queen size bed and super comfortable full size futon. Indoor bath with shower and outdoor bamboo shower. Brand new kitchen and an adorable lanai for enjoying the panoramic view of sunset or morning coffee. Our teak swing above the cottage offers a horizon view of the ocean.

The Bird's Nest

Located on the beautiful East side of the Big Island. This 1880 sq/ft (Includes open BBQ area, 2nd bath, washroom & open space downstairs) home. It sits on an acre lot surrounded by ohia trees, wild orchids & hapu'u ferns. This property is located in a residential neighborhood for you to conveniently explore the East side including several black sand beaches, hikes to tide pools & waterfalls near Hilo & Volcanoes National Park. Birds songs can be heard in the day & coqui frog chirps at night.

Surrounded by orchids and other tropical flowers, the cottage is located on two lovely landscaped acres - 30 minutes from Hilo or Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The property is solar powered, an off-grid sustainable system with 4G phone service and fiber optic wifi. The last two miles are on unpaved gravel road in variable condition depending upon how much rain we've had lately. Four wheel drive isn't necessary but an SUV or similar vehicle with higher clearance is recommended.

Our Ohana has easy access to main road but far enough away to be in complete silence and zero light pollution. The studio is separate from main house with a kitchenette, full bathroom with tub and central air conditioning. We have two large dogs, Jack & Boogie, and many cats. They bark and will be excited to meet you. If you aren't comfortable around large dogs this is not the place for you. Animal noises, including coqui frogs, are part of this rural space. You agree to all "House Rules" by instantly booking.
