Rose Cottage on England / Wales border. Shropshire

Rose Cottage is a stone built property built around 1830. The floors upstairs are all planked Elm and the downstairs areas are Flagstone flooring. The beamed ceilings and inglenook mean the property exudes character but with all the mod cons, including high speed internet. The cottage was recently upgraded with a Hand- painted kitchen with built in Dishwasher and fridge. Work surfaces are Kashmir white granite. The front garden is quite private & the bench is a perfect spot for a cup of tea.

Our handcrafted en-suite wooden adult only cabin is located within a small wood on the grounds of working sheep farm with an uninterrupted view across the valley in picturesque Shropshire. It has everything you need to retreat from the real world, whether it's for a cosy night in, in front of the log burner or a chance to sit and stargaze on the deck. There is an abundance of walks right from your doorstep, you're even lucky enough to have the Offas Dyke within a stones throw from the Cabin.

It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. Oakwood is a family-friendly retreat in the Mid Wales countryside, perfect for quality time together. We accept bookings for up to two adults and one or two children (under 18), and do not accommodate adult-only groups. Enjoy our private stretch of river for fishing, paddleboarding, and canoeing, with scenic walks and cycling routes nearby. Local pubs, shops, and restaurants are within 1.5 miles, making it an ideal base to explore the area.

The Church is a charming converted Victorian church situated in a peaceful setting in the friendly town of Oswestry. The three-bedroom property retains many beautiful features with vaulted ceiling and rustic oak beams. The contemporary decor in the lounge offers a cosy place to enjoy the spectacular country views, with custom made arched windows and an open plan kitchen. We have under-floor heating, a stone bath and Egyptian Cotton Bedding.

Hand-built treehouse (rustic!) in a beautiful, peaceful setting right on Offa's Dyke, a popular walk on the England/ Wales border. Sleeps 4 with a double bed and a comfy futon in the same room. Amazing waterfall 1/2 hour Lovely sunsets. Gas bbq and a gas hob. Solar power for phone charging etc. Basic compost toilet. Rustic shower. (no towels) Please bring your own drinking water, towels and firewood. Think of it as glorified camping....
