I have been visiting Duck since 1983 and have stayed at many houses over the years. This is our second year in a row at the house and we will be back next year! Everything you need is there - the "little" things that some other homes don't have; like sandwich baggies, tinfoil, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, etc. The house is perfectly located - a quick walk or bike ride to the ocean or the same right in to the middle of Duck. The hot tub is AMAZING and probably my family's favorite part. Beds are comfortable, everything functions well and the house is clean and well-organized. Plenty of nice extras provided as well - bikes, beach gear, lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, a wagon to transport it all. We just love it here, thank you for sharing your home!

Great place! Centrally located, quiet neighborhood and amazing hosts.

I had a wonderful stay! Dana was a fantastic host, and Kim, the co-host, made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked with an ample amount of supplies that made the getaway even more comfortable and easy. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared, which made settling in effortless. Communication was clear and prompt, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely love to stay here again. Thank you, Dana and Kim, for making everything so perfect!

Pablo's home was just the family getaway we needed! It was super clean, extremely comfortable and centrally located to a lot of different activities and sights that we truly enjoyed even in "off season ". Pablo was very helpful and responded quickly. We hope to visit again soon! Thank you for sharing your wonderful home where we were able to create even more happy family memories!

Amazing place to stay if you wanna be close to the beach! - home looks exactly like the pictures and has great amenities / room space is good!

Great place. For its size and value, it literally has a ton of great features . The theatre room is amazing, especially with having kids. Has a beach volleyball court! The arcade has thousands of games and brought me back 25 years (Pac-Man, Mario, Galaga, Street Fighter, and 1,000’s more). We went when it typically would not be considered swimming weather, however, we had the option to have the pool heated at least a day or so before arriving and it made a huge difference and allowed for my girls and I to swim in early April (and I did jump in the ocean to compare and it was a 25-30 degree difference! Lol). The owner is very quick to respond, has the instructions available prior to arrival, recommendations for food, churches, , and activities. If you don’t mind a 3-5 minute stroll to the beach, it is honestly not that far away. Walmart, Target, Grocery stores, putt putt, dunes, Wings, fishing pier, are very close by. The aquarium was a 20 min drive but was worth it. Fun experience.

We really enjoyed our stay and we agreed we'd both stay there again. The value was great for the location and amenities. Being able to walk 5 minutes to the beach was terrific. We also liked that it wasn't on the main road so we didn't really have to listen to traffic, yet we were also right around the corner from all the OBX commercial amenities like the grocery store, restaurants, and attractions. The house has it all. It is very spacious, numerous beds for a large family. We were just a couple with a dog and it was great. 1.5 bathrooms. Front and back porches, large yard, a fire pit, and a full kitchen. We really enjoyed Lainie's attention to all the amenities you'd need like all sorts of hotel-style soaps and shampoos, lots of towel's, and all the beach gear you'd need. They had beach chairs, boogie boards, sand castle-making toys, and even a cart to haul all your gear there. We also really liked taking an evening bike ride on the provided bicycles to get an ice cream down the road

Erin's place was amazing. We went during spring break so as the season was underway but before the big crowds. Made it fun to do the beach in a different way -- going out more than cooking. It was so cool to be staying on the boardwalk after everyone went home -- felt like we had a whole part of Duck to ourselves. Erin's place is perfectly located and very charming. She was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place.

We came across the Mermaid Cottage last minute on a quick getaway and it was the perfect spot to stay for us! Very eclectically decorated and a few steps away from the ocean 🌊. Also has a very nice, private porch with nice furniture for lounging. Jenni was an excellent and responsive host, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and cozy place when visiting Avon, NC.

I don't have anything but good things to say about Arielle's place. My wife and I were first-time visitors to the Outer Banks. We aren't much on the beach, but we do enjoy seeing it and being close to all of the activities. We were looking for quiet, affordable, clean location as our home base for our three days in the Outer Banks. This spot was perfect. The accommodations were exactly as described. Arielle was very responsive when we had any questions. Though we didn't meet her during our stay, we liked that the fact that she was right next door if we needed something. I couldn't recommend this location more!

We had a great time. Very nice place. Much better than a hotel. The host was extremely helpful. This was the first Airbnb for us and we would do this again. We enjoyed the area and it helped to have a tremendous place to stay.

A hidden gem! Very comfortable couch and bed, well equipped kitchenette, and perfect location! Earl was a very responsive host, we are definitely going to keep this place in our favorites list for future trips to the OBX!

Eddie was quick to respond and very accommodating. The views were amazing and the place was clean. Amenities provided were great, especially the towels and bed! Would definitely stay again!

Condo was in a great convenient location. Very spacious. We did a lot of sight seeing so didn’t spend a whole lot of time on site but it accommodated all of our needs!

Excellent Stay and such a cozy spot! From the picture and the sleeping 6, I thought there were 4 twins and 1 queen, but only 2 twins and a couch. No worries though, we settled in and it was WONDERFUL! Thank you again! ❤️

This is a perfect place to stay while on Ocracoke! Very comfortable bed and well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed a swim in the pool too! This spot is quiet and lovely. We enjoyed our morning coffee around the pool and enjoyed the smell of jasmine that was starting to open up and listened to the mourning doves. Easy walk to Ocracoke Coffee and The Back Porch restaurant. Don’t forget to shop at Bella Fiore and Books to be Red. We will be back!

Exactly as expected, pictures say it all! Very clean, easy to communicate with the host, well appointed condo. With 4 kids, it can be tough to find something everyone likes to do, no problem with the recommendations and coupons! Thank you!! The place was clean and inviting, as described. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Clear communication from the host. Overall great stay and value.

2nd time booking with Rick in Duck. Perfect location, peaceful & quiet. Love the shower upgrade in the master bath!! His place never disappoints on the views & more important, comfort. We had a great stay!

Martin was a super responsive host. Anything we needed he was there to help. The place was gorgeous and in a really nice location. The unit was right next to the pool and tucked away from the main road. The pool was nice and it wasn't too crowded when we went. If you look really close you can see the ocean from the private balcony. Parking wasn't an issue for us. The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Would 100% recommend staying here if you don't want to be right on the beach but close enough that it takes 3 minutes to drive the the beach access. Overall, this was the perfect place for our girls trip.

What a great location! We could walk everywhere we needed to go and we were pleasantly surprised at the size and quality of the rental, the pictures do not do it justice! We would definitely rent this property again in the future.
