"Heaven" ( 1,512 sq ft, 7 ac) sits on a bluff overlooking the Osage river. An open home with huge full length windows and a sun room provides abundant natural lighting. Two porches offer views over the river and to the woods. A soaker tub and sauna are situated in the cabin with a view to the sunset. The cabin is at the end of a secluded forest road. A locked garage is available for parking small cars. Drive: 15-20 min to Linn for supplies / 30 min to Jeff City / 5 min to public river access.

Carbondale Pool House - Sauna, Hot Tub, Dogs OK

Rated in “Top 1%” by Airbnb, the Pool House is a separate cottage surrounded by gardens and swimming pool, with retro "Danish Modern" furniture, a gourmet kitchen and plush beds. We have recently added a Finnish Sauna and Japanese Ofuro Soaking Tub. We accept well behaved dogs for a fee of $35 a night. We allow only guests and friends of the Pool House on the grounds, gardens or pool. Hosts are Jane, anthropologist and D. a retired photojournalist for the New York Times.

The Suite is within our residence, but completely separate. It's a one-family or one-group-at-a-time space with 7 rooms to enjoy, plus an enclosed porch. Drink your morning coffee in one of the 3 sitting areas or on the deck outside (you may see deer feeding in the forest below).
