Ahh....The Good Life Cottage is located approximately five miles north of Laurel, MS where it began on a patch of ground that was fully cultivated from the 1900's to the 1960's, afterwards it became a family farm that grew corn, hay, and food for livestock and family. Today, on the land is a farmhouse with modern amenities as well as the sights and sounds of nature all around you, frogs croaking, crickets chirping, deer feeding, turkeys foraging, and owls hooting. A place to enjoy the Good Life.

Your whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique home. Privacy awaits at "Tall Pines", our dog-friendly home features 3 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms with a large fenced in property that boasts over 30 mature pine tress. You can get away from everything while experiencing all that Laurel has to offer. FUN FACT: The main bedroom features 2 bathrooms, a 'his' and 'hers'. If you ever wondered if separate bathrooms were worth it, they are! You will just love visiting Laurel.

Meridian Regional Airport is only 12 minutes away and Meridian Jaycee Soccer Complex is only 7 minutes away. Deer Run has many amenities for your convenience. Enjoy easy access to popular shops and restaurants inLaurel from this cozy cottage. Our home was featured on HGTV’s HomeTown. While we live in the main house, we had Katie (contractor on show) remodel the two rooms behind us as guest rooms. We have added carvings to the landscape, a whole house generator, and a few places to sit and enjoy the outside. Our episode was called Woodland Wonderland, but better known as the Hobbit House. Sweet Olive Cabin Morton, MS

The 2 bedroom, 1 bath cabin has an open floor plan in the den and kitchen, a queen size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom, with a roll-away daybed available. A pack n play is available upon request. The bathroom is handicapped accessible. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, full size refrigerator and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There is a flat screen tv in both the den and the master bedroom with Directv. We have WIFI available.

The interior is wood with modern cabinets and furniture. Central AC and electric fireplace provide climate control or double French doors may be opened to screened porch. Dragonfly Ridge is located in rural Jasper County, MS and is near The town of Bay Springs.
