Although this space has all the feel of a time long gone, its rustic charm has been updated with modern features to enhance your stay! Come enjoy an experience you won’t forget!

Birch Cabin-2 Min to Lakes/Snowmobile trails

Enjoy a quite stay on a wooded lot in the heart of cottage country! The cabins are conveniently located within a short walking distance to the lovely town of Dorset, Kawagama Lake and Lake of Bays. The scenic lookout tower and hiking, snowmobiling and ATV trails are all at our doorstep! In town you can find restaurants on the water, Robinson's General Store and an LCBO. Come swim in the pristine waters, fawn over the fall colours or go for a rip on your snowmobile. It's all here!

Rolling Rapids Retreat

Listen to the sound of the gentle rapids and birds singing as you reacquaint yourself with nature at this unique and tranquil getaway. Rolling Rapids Retreat is a private riverside cabin that is ideal for couples or solo travellers. Sit on the dock and watch the sunset. Sip a drink by the indoor wood burning fireplace while looking out the window at moving water. Watch the leaves change colour and fall from the trees. Paddle the lazy river in a canoe or relax in the hammock.

Our cabin is surrounded by majestic forest and is just minutes away from Eagle and Pine Lake beaches! A short drive to Haliburton & Minden and a 5 minute drive to Sir Sam's Ski Resort. After a fun-filled day, craft meals in our fully stocked kitchen and relax by the fire pit. Truly a retreat!

If you enjoy hiking, you can go for a private hiking experience on our private trail (4-5km), check out Silent Lake Provincial Park (20 min) or Algonquin (1 hour) to enjoy the beautiful Canadian nature. THE KABINKA No service, no electricity, no plumbing, no problems "Kabinka" is the name of our eastern European inspired Chalet. She is unadorned, a simple off-grid shelter for your wilderness retreat. Configured equally for a large party of family/friends, or for a couple's weekend away (groups over 4 are charged more) Outside is a growing network of trails, winding along Rockingham Creek and surrounding hills, with views of our hobby farm and spectacular waterfalls

Right at lakeside , jump right into our lake. Kashagawigamog Lake. Cozy studio cottage, new queen mattress bed + lounging sofa. Kitchenette with a coffee maker, kettle, microwave, high end toaster oven , induction plate ++. Wi-Fi , Perfect for a weekend or week getaway. Suits 2 adults and 1 small child. Most of the time we are in our adjacent larger cottage. Here to help but far enough away that you have your own cabin. No smoking on property and no pets

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Former Algonquin Park post office transferred to this property in 1970 and made into a beautiful cottage. - 15 min away from Bancroft - several beaches around the area - 40 min walking trail on the property - small pond on the property - 2 double beds, 1 twin bed & 1 pull out couch - open concept, loft style.
