Kitchenette has fridge & microwave, no stove. Beautiful views w/private access to Bonito River right off deck.This area doesn’t flood. Covered area for parking.

'The Duke' Western Space on the River

'The Duke' is a John Wayne inspired western themed space perfect for a quiet getaway to Ruidoso and located on the main road into town. This is the downstairs to our primary home that we have converted to 'The Duke' with John Wayne western décor, comfortable living room with mini fridge, microwave and coffee. Don't forget to peek into the kid friendly 'cupboard under the stairs' Harry Potter inspired closet. Relax each day on the 6' by 40' covered deck listening to the Rio Ruidoso river below

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, 5 max. 2 double beds in the bedroom, & daybed for an extra person. Cooking Hot plate & electric appliances. Open deck on the Pecos River w/outdoor fireplace unless Fireban in place. Community bathhouse with toilets & showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Other rentals on property, another rustic casita is in close proximity. Pergola screen is up. Road noise is heard, especially during peak travel times.

BY THE GRACE OF GOD (& maybe a bit of my sheer grit) this little lady is standing post 2024 arson fires/floods…She is still & will continue to be a pristine cozy cottage on the Rio Ruidoso that offers an historic Upper Canyon stay. To be clear the neighborhood does show remnants of its former self but in no time will be stunning again…Further I want to thank all my former & recent guests for the outpouring of love & support through this most surreal time…awesomely good people in this world!

Our 3bed/2bath is the perfect place for a family get together, girls weekend, or just to get away from town and hang out by the lake! There are many scenic views to see around Buffalo Lake. Enjoy this adorable casita right on the Pecos River! This is an excellent location to relax and unwind after a day of exploring Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe National Park and other nearby attractions. Sip your morning coffee on the dock, or unwind in the evening and take in the view. **The Pecos River will be drained from Jan 7-May 31 for dock maintenance and river cleaning. If this is an issue, please do not book!**
