A completely furnished apartment in the basement of our log home (our main residence) on 5 acres of woods above beautiful Shavehead Lake. Entrance into the apartment through a screened in porch and double French doors provides privacy and space to relax and enjoy the beautiful outdoor landscape. A large egress window allows natural sunlight into the bedroom on the opposite side of the wall from the kitchen/dining room/living room. If you love camping and nature , but don’t like having to do your own setting up camp and hauling all your camping gear, this is a great place for you. Enjoy paddling our lake using our canoe provided for your enjoyment. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit complete with picnic table.

Surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with wildlife and nature, the area is close to lakes like Diamond Lake, historic sites, and Amish country.

Come for a relaxing getaway in the country. Cook in our small kitchenette or use our Blackstone or fire pit. Located in a small hobby farm setting with sheep roaming the pasture. We also have a couple cats that claim the pool area as their own. The long driveway and gravel road are perfect for a leisurely stroll to enjoy the great outdoors. Take a swim in the pool or a soak in the hot tub and let the worries of life melt away during your stay.
