This secluded little spot is nestled back a long dirt lane, just one hour from Penn State University, 10 minutes from R.B. Winter state park, and 15 minutes from down town Lewisburg.

We offer a 1.6 acre charming cabin close to Reeds Gap State Park and Bald Eagle State Forest. Bald Eagle has 193,000 acres of public land, hiking trails and fly fishing in Penns Creek. Swimming, beach and kayaking at Poe Valley State Park. Mountain biking and DCNR sport motorcycle trails. 40 minutes to State College, 15 minutes off of Rte 322, Milroy or Reedsville Exit. Relax and rock on the front porch or swing on the swing in the trees. You may enjoy dinner on the deck or in the woods.

Lots of local hiking trails with beautiful scenery.

It features 3 bedrooms - downstairs bedroom is a traditional enclosed room, 2 upstairs bedrooms are unique open loft spaces that are visible to each other. A room separating curtain is there for privacy. There's the convenience of two baths with a lovely claw foot soaker tub. The cottage has 180 degree views of Penns Creek and private creek access and firepit about 100 steps away.

This renovated cabin is perfect for a weekend getaway. Located on the beautiful Shade Mountain, it is a great spot to relax and unwind. Great for the family. Beds are two double beds, 1 single bed, a futon in our sitting room that sleeps 1 person. The cabin has running water, an indoor bathroom that includes a flush toilet, sink and a shower designed for shorten showers. A modernized kitchen has basic cooking accessories to prepare meals as well a coffee bar.
