This charming villa, situated in the heart of Wainui, is full of character. With panoramic views overlooking Akaroa Harbour and the surrounding hills, this is a superb spot to relax and unwind. Come and enjoy the unique environment any time of year. This spacious family home has 4 (+1) bedrooms, a kitchen/living room with a large log burner, and another living/dining room with an open fire, both opening onto the veranda. A quiet and private oasis overlooking native bush on our farm in Banks Peninsula. A unique, off the grid experience in our warm (centrally heated) and luxurious, brand new caravan. Gaze at the stars in your own little paradise whilst soaking in our private outdoor bath and/or enjoy exploring the spectacular bays around Banks Peninsula. Our 1/2 acre section is fully fenced so that your pet (if bringing) can roam freely. Even though we are off grid, we have great internet access (fast WIFI).

The Herb Farm Cottage - An Idyllic Rustic Retreat

The Herb Farm Cottage is a world of it's own in rural Grehan Valley. Here in the country garden stream side setting of the former Herb Farm (New Zealand's first opened in 1976) you will find the original cottage with the ground floor studio/bed sitting room and adjoining parlour. Relax and enjoy the special setting of flowers, wishing well, native bird life, frogs, friendly free range chooks, ducks on the pond and a great night sky. All just a 15 minute stroll to the village and seaside.

Akaroa Coastal Cottage

A private, peaceful retreat with amazing sea views & abundant birdlife. Just a short drive from Akaroa township (3km) & nestled in native bush, situated on 3 hectares overlooking Akaroa Harbour. Our queen room is attached to our home & is suitable for independent stays. Enjoy sea views from you room with a seperate entrance, your own bathroom, free wifi & SkyTV & private use of a shared outdoor spa pool. Please note : not suitable for under 12 years of age. Accept a maximum of 2 nights.

Rustic Cabin nestled in Pigeon Bay. Unique funky vibe with artistic décor. Queen bed, wood burner, retro games and books, table and chairs. Little kitchenette with beautiful spring water and gas cooking outside under veranda. Sunny couch on outdoor deck. Super funky toilet block and spacious shower room just a short walk away on lush lawns. Gorgeous rural outlook. Ocean 1min drive away. Akaroa 20mins. No WiFi but excellent coverage on Spark network, average on Vodafone.

Coniston Cabin

Coniston cabin is a delightful, cosy space situated on our property 'Coniston' , in the beautiful valley of Little River. It is lined in recycled timbers and furnished with pre-loved finds and fabrics, giving it a warm, nurturing feeling. It features a comfortable queensize bed, ensuite bathroom, and kitchenette. There is also a small covered deck and courtyard area where you can enjoy the beautiful birdsong and hill views.

Snowberry Cottage @ Loch Sloy Farm Little River

A miniature home-away-from-home, Snowberry Cottage on Lochsloy Farm contains everything you need for a relaxing stay. Views from your window or deck area are over the pond, or down to Lake Wairewa. Lochsloy is a small working farm, with sheep, chickens, a small forestry block, some native bush, a pair of Labradors and a couple of cats.
