A charming Tuscan retreat

Villa Pianelli is a traditional farmhouse dating from the 1500's and consists of 2 structures. The main house where I live, always available to ensure your stay runs smoothly and the Garden apartment. Both are completely independant with separate entrances. The Garden apartment is composed of 5 rooms on ground level, the interiors have retained the Tuscan characteristics with brick ceilings and chestnut beams and terracotta floors. There are 2 double bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 lounge with a wood burning stove and open plan kitchen - dining area. The kitchen is equipped with fridge,oven and ceramic hob. From the lounge you access the spa room with sauna and from there onto a terraced garden complete with b.b.q. The swimming pool is 8mx16m and is open May through September, furnished with sun loungers,a b.b.q area and a large covered pergola with dining tables and chairs. Villa Pianelli is secluded in a quiet corner of the Tuscan countryside, nestled in the hills of Arezzo, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and oak forests.We can offer our guests a dimension of peace and quiet whilst ensuring various possibilities of entertainment in wineries, restaurants,shopping etc just a few kilometres away in Arezzo. Please note that the house has two bedrooms but if the booking is for two people only one bedroom will be provided.If required there is an additional cost of 50 euro per night for the second bedroom.

In 2023 my son Guglielmo and I decided to restore the old oratory of a church from the 1600s by creating a two floor apartment: upstairs we have 2 bedrooms equipped with AC and 2 en-suite bathrooms with shower; downstairs a spacious living room with stereo Available a table outside with great view and a nice garden 50 mt away where to have a private wine tasting for all the guests of our 4 apartments We can organize barbecue with paired wines after 7 pm. Large free parking area 100 mt away

Appartamento in stile provenzale immerso tra il vigneto e gli olivi. Godrete della tranquillità della campagna a 10 km dalla città e 4 dall'autostrada. Il canto di ghiandaie e cucù faranno da colonna sonora al soggiorno mentre i caprioli brucano tra gli olivi. E' inclusa una colazione base all'italiana (caffè, tè, latte, biscotti ecc.), se invece preferite una colazione più ricca e servita al tavolo il costo è 15€ a persona (10€ da 5 a 15 anni, gratis meno di 5 anni). The house enjoys a rare and enchanting view of the Val d’Orcia and Monte Amiata, ensuring maximum privacy. The interiors mirror the charm of the Tuscan style, with antique furniture and finishes made by local artisans. It is equipped with a double bedroom, a large living room with a big table, a fully equipped kitchenette, a double sofa bed in front of the fireplace, in the living room. The 700 years old Villa di Geggiano, surrounded by our working vineyard and lovingly maintained gardens, is located in Chianti in Tuscany which is one of the most beautiful regions of Italy. Our guesthouse is located in one of the original garden pavilions of the villa. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE IN THE COUNTRYSIDE WITH VERY FEW PUBLIC TRANSPORT OTHER THAN TAXI SO THE BEST WAY TO ENJOY YOUR STAY AND TO VISIT THE BEAUTIFUL SURROUNDINGS IS TO HAVE A RENTAL CAR.

Old hayloft on the Chianti hills

Agriturismo Il Colle is located on one of the Chianti hills. The property has been completely renovated, overlooking the Chianti valleys and enjoying splendid views of the surrounding hills and the city of Florence. The apartment is completely independent, on two internally connected floors, and features a private garden lined with centuries-old oaks and Tuscan cypresses. The restoration maintained the original Tuscan architectural style of rural barns.
