Most idealic place we stayed during our road trip. The couch in the back to watch the sunset is fantastic. Genuinely a unique experience. Would stay again if we are in the area

We came to St. Donatus to do the outdoor stations of the cross on Good Friday and we stayed through Easter. The whole family had so much fun. My husband and I liked hanging out in the barn, because we could grab a drink for ourselves and our girls could get some pop and play board games with us. There was enough variety of both drinks and games for everyone! My girls commented on how comfortable the beds were, and they enjoyed bathing in the claw foot tub. We went to dinner across the street on Friday night, and they were having a seafood buffet for Good Friday. It was delicious. We will definitely plan to visit again when the weather is warmer and we can do more activities outdoors. Kari and Don were great hosts!

Kari was great. let me know she was out of town but she would be returning that evening I checked in. communicated about the property and was super helpful. the price was great... a single room with a jacuzzi tub... definitely worth the price and when I head to that part of the state in the future will definitely stay with Kari again!

I went to go see the tulips in Pella over the weekend and stayed here overnight. It was in a safe, lovely area and the cottage itself was picturesque and charming. Everything was neat and smelled nice, the outdoor shower was refreshing, and the cute vintage decorations sprinkled across the property were reminiscent of when I used to spent nights at my grandmother’s cottage as a child. Would highly recommend!

The kissing hens place was very clean, was exactly as described in the listing, and was very peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and will likely be back again next time we are in Ames.

We loved staying here, it was super nice! Comfortable, lots of nice extras. Our two exchange students loved the upstairs area, which was private for them, complete with a tv, and futon sofa for their own entertainment, and away from grownups. Overall we loved the place. The kitchen was big and spacious, and we also loved the large dining room table and deck outside. Great place, would stay here again!!

This place was a nice reminder of home, while visiting home, from our home away from home. As odd as that sounds, we're Nebraska natives that now reside in Minnesota and were visiting for a family birthday surprise, so what better way to tap into our roots than to stay in a grain bin! What made it special was the details - pulling up to the house as a thunderstorm was rolling in to the south, roosters crowing and all forms of wildlife at the end of a dirt road....it just had a very magical feel to it. The place itself was great. Cozy to the max and didn't want to get out of bed syndrome hit very hard in the morning. The food we were given the next day was a perfect addition to the surroundings. Kay and Jim were awesome, fun to chat with, and we will absolutely be back!

Rhonda and Duane have thought of everything with their place! We will definitely be staying again and look forward to it! We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay or better hosts in our travel circumstances! ❤️

Amazing place to stay. Though its only 20 mins from downtown, this is as a close as anything to being out in the boonies and we loved every second of it

Can’t say enough good about this place! It was open and inviting for several of us to be there. Has everything you need as the kitchen is completely stocked!

Exactly the restful farm getaway we wanted. And the barn cats were adorable!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Decorah. This place instantly stood out to us because of the location! It was very quiet and peaceful and had beautiful scenery. Molly was an excellent host and was flexible with check in times. We felt very at home! Would definitely stay here again!

Love it!! Booked later in the evening as I needed a place close to Schuyler and Columbus Nebraska to spend time with my boyfriend. It was pouring rain and she met me with a smile because I could not figure out the door and it’s not the door it was me. Everything was amazing. So many small details definitely not overlooked by Rose. Quiet, comfortable, and cozy rainy night. Don’t forget she has farm fresh eggs in the fridge (she puts the dates the eggs were laid 🥹). I highly recommend it if you need a place that has casino down the road with great food, outdoors, and peace and quiet. This is the place. Thank you so much, Rose 🌹

Quiet, peaceful, charming and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the wildlife, mainly bird watching. The hosts were easy to work with and truly interested in our comfort and stay. I highly recommend the property. You won't be disappointed and will want to return for every season.

So happy we decided to stay here. Great place to stay. Kids and I really enjoyed it. Not sure if it’s possible or makes sense, given it’s primarily a wedding venue versus an apartment, but a little area with a tv and sofa/futon would have been nice helping get kids wound down for bed. Overall we really loved the place. There were so many unique special touches that made us smile. Plenty of space and restrooms. Kids LOVED climbing the ladder to their bedroom. They also had fun just being in the country. By the trees and pond. :) Great barn. Clean and charming. We’ll be back. Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time at Ryan’s place. The property is great for walking and exploring! Kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. We hope to return!

The Barn House was in a beautiful location and it housed all 15 of us very comfortably. Very clean. No complaints whatsoever. Also, Gerarda was very friendly while also maintaining privacy. 10/10 experience.

We had wonderful stay this weekend in Dubuque. The restored barn and outdoor settings are even better than the pictures. It is clear a lot of time and care went into restoring the place for a comfortable and relaxing get away. Our hosts were accessible and great at communicating our arrival and check out.

Remote location with a nice yard deck to sit outside. Mark was very responsive when we had questions. Place was very clean. Kitchen was a little small for cooking for a bigger group, but it was still a perfect place for a group bachelor party.

3rd time staying at Jennifers place and it will not be the last.
