Our family enjoyed our 3 day stay. It was a great cabin with just what we wanted for an “in the woods” get away. Don’t hesitate if you’re looking for something like this in the area. No light pollution for star gazing. Deer in the creek grabbing a drink.

We love Pilgrim Heights and try to stay here a few times a year. It’s like gated “camping” but the best part is you can stay in a real bed with a door that locks! I never worry about our safety and anything we have needed they have helped us with! I love that they constantly improve upon it too. We adore it here and will always be back!

This cabin was a perfect location for a mini family reunion. Beds were comfortable, everything was very clean and the kitchen provided all the appliances from home! Highly recommend morning coffee on the patio to watch the sunrise across the lake!

This was the perfect place for our family gathering. Beautiful house and beautiful setting. The house was well stocked with everything we needed. It was so warm and inviting, we loved every minute of our stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Great lake home. The living space was very nicely done with plenty of comfortable seating. Patios and outdoor areas were gorgeous and included comfortable furniture.

Our stay was perfect! Alisa was an accommodating host and easy to communicate with. Her place is exactly what is pictured and is as described. My kids loved her DVD collection and we had a great time playing games — we were indoors mostly since the weather wasn’t cooperating for fishing. We felt completely comfortable!

Christian and Jaki were very communicative and made us feel at home right at check in with a nice welcome basket for us and our dogs! The home felt so comfy, like you’ve been there many times before. The kitchen had everything we needed, making it easy to stay in and cook. We loved the proximity to Sioux Falls, but mostly enjoyed spending time on the back porch and by the water. We are already trying to figure out when we can come back. Great hosts, great place. It was beautiful!

If you seek peace, reflection, and beautiful views provided by a truly gracious host, then this is where you should go. Staying here reminded me of the days when Air BnB first came about; a day where the actual host communicated with you rather than a 3rd party and didn’t just give you a house, but they gave you a home. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, full of amenities for cooking, a whole lot of complimentary snacks, great communicable neighbors with sincere joyousness. If you’re questioning at all where to stay, you shouldn’t, because this is it.

We had so much fun staying here! Loved that we could walk to the water park, Bracco’s, and the Waterfront. Is also only a couple minute drive to shopping, Arnold’s amusement park, and other restaurants/bars. Condo was very roomy and was super cute!! Beds are extremely comfortable! We loved that we could sit out on the deck at night and hear the bands that would play across the lake. Highly recommend this condo and has been one of the best that we have stayed at throughout the years!

What a gem! We had a fantastic time on our girls weekend at this home. The place was beautiful and well taken care of. Emilie was such a gracious host! She went above and beyond to accommodate our schedules and was very prompt when we had a question. And that porch! My only wish was that it would've been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed it longer!

We had a fantastic three-night stay at Michaela’s home while in town for the Berkshire Hathaway Annual Meeting. The location was ideal—just a quick 10-minute drive to the CHI Health Convention Center—yet it felt like a peaceful escape tucked away on Carter Lake, far from the hustle and bustle of downtown Omaha. Michaela is a top-notch host: responsive, thoughtful, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and local tips. The house itself is incredibly well-equipped and thoughtfully stocked—everything from a charging station with every type of cord imaginable to a reverse osmosis water filter and even a medicine cabinet with handy over-the-counter items (which we thankfully didn’t need, but it was so nice knowing they were there!). The home has a warm, charming personality, and the smart layout made the most of the space. It was a perfect retreat after long days at the conference. We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Omaha!

Fantastic, such a beautiful place and a total destination. I would love to just stay a few days with family later. It was used for 2 days as a bachelorette place. The girls had an amazing time, so much thought and effort went into details to make this an amazing place. Hosts were so easy to communicate with and were the perfect hosts. I appreciate such an amazing experience for my daughter pre wedding and would 1000% recommend.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin is such an awesome get away and has all the comforts of home. Chris and Bryan are great hosts and we will be coming back again and again whenever in the area. So private and peaceful!

We loved staying at this house for a quick trip to visit family. The home was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed—including shampoo and conditioner, which was a nice bonus! We’ll definitely be booking again in the future
