Our second stay at Fox Hollow. Great location next to town. Beds and baths worked well for us. Access to trails and sledding out the back of the property was great. The front porch puts you in a special place and mood. J

This is a great house to stay in. There's a lot of space, places to sleep, sit and relax, eat, watch tv, play games, work, read, cook. Plenty of hot water.. Very private, although in a neighborhood. Nice back yard area when not covered in snow, looking up at the mountains behind. Sheri is top notch. Easy to reach, super friendly and helpful, easy going. We came at the tail end of a snow storm, but the driveway was cleared enough to get our car in and then Sheri worked with us to make sure everything was cleared before we had to go out the next day. Easy walk into the cute town of Bristol. Handful of nice shops (books, games, art, crafts, gifts, toys) and restaurants: Wokky's--ok Chinese/great staff; Minifactory--out of sight coffee/biscuits/sandwiches/fresh ingredients/lot of gluten free; Cubber's--locals' joint/excellent pizza/sandwiches; Farmhouse Chocolates--superb fresh organic truffles, bars, caramels/chocolatier is wonderful. Easy drive to Mad River Glen, Sugarbush for skiing.

Awesome quiet spot with friendly hosts. Lots of land to explore in a great area. Trails on their land and across the street. So easy to relax or be active.

Our first time at Lynda's home in the woods. Place was exactly how described! Was very cozy and we had everything we needed for our stay. Great location, very private and close to skiing and town. We enjoyed to sauna every day. We got to relax and really enjoy ourselves. Lynda was very quickly to respond and was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely plan to go back, we loved it!

We had a great stay here. The house was quaint and exactly as pictured. We asked for recommendations but didn’t receive a response. However, Sam was super responsive for all other things house related like check in time and when the shower pump was broken and only giving us cold water. The hot water issue was taken care of right away which was appreciated! The backyard is big and fenced in. This is great for dogs! There is a grill and fire pit. We didn’t use either but having that amenity was nice. Location is great and so was the price. Walking distance and car ride from most eateries and cute shops. We felt safe, thank you!

Place was as advertised. Beautiful, great location, great views, close to convenient grocery shopping and slopes. We'd love to come back some day.

Great house and location was easy to get to, close to airport, and events.

It is a beautiful house where you can smell the family and we liked that a lot. It is close to the ski slopes, very clean and comfortable. Lidsa and Tom have very good communication, excellent service.

Perfect place to stay while hiking in Placid. Also, the hot tub is the perfect way to end a long day of hiking. We have stayed at phoebes place twice now and it was clean, we had everything we needed and phoebe is very kind!

Great place to take your family if you like to escape from humanity! Very remote setting and plenty of places to hike. The house is as described and the kitchen if fully stocked to make full dinners. My daughters, our German Shepard and I had a wonderful time. Suggestions - bring groceries as Granville is in the middle of nowhere. Closest store is in Rochester, 12 miles South. William was very commun icative and the value for the money was phenominal. Hope I can return next year!

Our stay in Sara and Mikes home in Waitsfield was incredible! Upon arrival into the mad river valley, the surrounding views were instantly beautiful and calming. The moment we stepped in the house we honestly felt right at home. The layout of the house is so calming and tasteful. Everything is perfectly organized, down to the labeling for all of the dishes and cookware so you’ll never have trouble finding what you need! Waking up and heading by downstairs for a workout in the home gym, followed by a dip in the hot tub on the secluded back deck was an insanely relaxing way to start the day. The custom built bed frames/furniture and the overall craftsmanship of the space added a comforting artistic value to the stay. Don’t get me started on the screen porch! This house is full of amenities and I’ve honestly never felt more at home at an air b&b stay. Nice quiet respectful neighborhood in an amazing community, would recommend this spot to anyone and we hope to return in the future!

I wish I could rate this home 6 stars. It is beautiful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The two bedrooms are great and very comfortable, and they actually have anything you might need in terms of toiletries. Corey was super responsive and helpful, he quickly answered the few questions that I had. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a small getaway.

Beautifully kept home with all the necessary amenities. Had a good time with family and kids. Anna was very responsive and accommodating. The games room, hot tub and sauna was great.

No frills but that’s what we were looking for, for a quick spring ski trip! Affordable and great for the kids with a ton to do on the property. Game space, pool, hot tub, laser tag plus skiing! Super fun packed few days. Host very communicative. We will return.

We had such a fun trip! Nikki’s cottage was absolutely gorgeous, nestled in the countryside. Would absolutely stay here again!

We appreciated how pet friendly this place was! Fenced in yard. Blankets to cover the furniture to allow dogs on them. Close enough to many different ski mountains. Perfect to come home to the wood stove and hot tub.

Wonderful stay at white pine camp. The house is so much better than the photos, space is clean and clutter free. Photos make the camp look way more dated than it is. Very spacious. Could not find anything to complain about definitely looking forward to returning in the future

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

-We enjoyed the cottage feel. -Even though it was close to the other cottage, we enjoyed our own space and privacy. -The bed and pillows were very comfortable— I’m hard to please and usually bring my own pillow, but I forgot it. -Our dog was happy that he could go outside, sniff around, and do his business in the fenced in yard. -One suggestion is to dial back the room freshener. We are both scent sensitive. There were some nice smells— pine and cinnamon— but it was a lot for those of us with allergies and finicky noses. Don’t let that turn you away! A plug-in can be removed! -This rental is a class act— tasteful and practical. We loved it, will recommend it to friends, and will probably book it again! Thank you, Sharon, for paying attention to the details. They really matter. Nice job!

This is the fourth year we have booked Dogatraz island and look forward to it every time. Nick, the property manager is responsive, on time and super helpful. We love the private island and being able to let our dogs run free, especially our deaf dog. She always has to be on a leash where we live and being able to watch her run is priceless. Both pups love the kayak and the water (but neither will swim-LOL). I love the idea of no Wifi and forcing us to detach from our otherwise busy lives. Looking forward to next year!!

My wife and I had a great time at Jeanne's place. It was very secluded and peaceful. She left tons of information, not only regarding the property but also the local area. The cabin was rustic but with many modern features. Really the best of both worlds. The kitchen was stocked with food supplies, coffee, etc., as well as any pots, pans, dishes and utensils one would need. It was cold outside but the heaters kept the cabin comfortable. An all-wheel drive vehicle or at least one that isn't low to the ground is probably preferred for the road the property was on. It was maybe a half hour to Lake Placid and there were some restaurants within about a 10 minute drive. Great trip and highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was perfect for 4 people and a dog for a weekend trip. Having a place right down the stairs to take the dog to use the bathroom made it much more convenient than a hotel. We spent most our weekend outside or exploring downtown Lake Placid which was just a few minutes away so the location was perfect. The apartment was clean and well maintained.
