Historic stone cottage in the heart of Melrose. Close to all local amenities with spectacular views and direct access to the creek. Main and second bedroom have queen beds. Third bedroom has as a triple bunk (double and single) and a single bunk. Camp style kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge. Basic ‘outhouse’ style bathroom (external), shower over bath, toilet. Tommy Rough will be your new home away from home! Perfect for a couple, but can accommodate up to 3-4 with the use of sofa beds. Retro styling, updated amenities, and all the comforts from home - just downsized, slowed down, and simplified. Pets welcome, fenced and secure back yard. She’s a little “rough around the edges”, hence the name, but is safe, comfortable and charming. Your perfect couples getaway only 2 hours from Adelaide. Our place is a 1 km walk to the pub, shops, and Jetty.

The cottage is a stone building with cedar windows all around ,giving tranquil views to the gardens and birdlife , a beautiful space setup up for 2 people only , with queen size antique style bed . free standing clawfoot bath. 2 toilets ,one is a right royal chain pull from a time gone by. 1 shower 2 wash basins feel the serenity in the Cottage ,with direct access to your own secluded outdoor dining area so why not dine in cooking your meals in the shared kitchen and eat at the giants table.

A 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house, just 20 metres from the water’s edge at high tide. Enclosed, all-weather entertaining area, a Lego activity table, gas BBQ, and fans, Pet and Child-friendly with a shaded, fenced outdoor area. Open-plan living with kitchen, dining, and lounge. Main bedroom, ensuite, walk-in robe, and ocean views. Bedroom 2 overlooks Point Lowly Lighthouse. Main bathroom has a shower, bath, separate vanity, toilet. Front deck with secure glass fencing and undercover fenced parking.

Clare to Spalding character escape

Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

You'll love the walks you can take after dinner and the rumpus room is the perfect place to sit by the Pot Belly Fire and watch a movie. If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. Spencer Gulf great fishing & crabbing jetty walks.

We are in the Southern Flinders Ranges with National Parks within easy reach. Pt. Germein is an historic Port town with 1.3 km wooden jetty, perfect for fishing and crabbing. The cottage is located in the grounds of St Clement's Anglican Church circa 1863 now a private residence. Only 23 kms from major rural city of Pt. Pirie. Cottage is self contained and would be described as bright and fresh set in an Australian native garden with undercover car parking.

Alex's Country House

Alex's house is located in the South Australian town of Laura in the southern Flinders Ranges. Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.

An easy drive from Adelaide; located between Port Augusta and Quorn, The Atco Hut is the perfect retreat for those who are wanting to explore the Flinders Ranges. Or for those who just want a relaxing weekend away.

Shear Serenity Cottage on Survey Road

Beautiful and quaint, 2 bedroom cottage located 15kms from Melrose along the picturesque Survey Road. 17kms to Wirrabara and 300m from the eastern end of the popular Bridle Track. Situated on a working sheep and cattle farm, near a seasonal creek, private and peaceful with its own secret garden. Come and relax and listen to the birds sing.
