Cottonwood Cove is a cozy property and cabin located on beautiful Lake Amelia, near Villard, MN. We are less than 20 miles SE of Alexandria, 8 miles from Glenwood MN. This space is great for a quiet getaway with family or friends. Tie the boat up to the dock, enjoy swimming, fishing, and breathtaking views. The original small log cabin is Amish built and relocated to our lake lot from a local Christmas tree farm. We added on just over 1000 sq ft to the cabin to complete Cottonwood Cove.

Relax in your own private cottage near the beach & much more! Two bedrooms with full beds, full kitchen, bath, open living space with smart TV, futon and ample seating. Large deck with gas grill & lake views. Directly across is beautiful Starbuck Beach & boat launch. Take the bike trail for some ice cream by the marina or head to the State Park for hiking, horse trails, & winter trails too. Try one of the area restaurants, breweries or wineries many with lake views! Lake living at it's best!

Schroeder Shores lake cabin

This family friendly cabin is attached to a seasonal campground. The cabin and patio look out at the lake. Lake Minnewaska is right across the street (quiet residential street) and the campground & cabin share 250' of sandy lakeshore. The lake is only waist deep 100' from shore with a sandy bottom so it is a great place to float or play water games. The cabin sleeps 6, 8 if you use the pullout couch. One full bath and one half bath. Full kitchen and grill to keep everyone fed and happy!

WIFI is available for a $35 fee if you need it. Home sleeps 23 and there is a $10 per person fee per night above 8 guests.
