Stay in a beautiful, safe neighborhood only a ten-minute walk to Rathtrevor Beach trails, amazing beaches, Englishman River, & estuary. Under 5 minute drive to downtown Parksville. Enjoy hotel inspired luxuries (I.e. new high-quality, ultra-comfortable mattresses and bedding), plus a hot tub and BBQ in your private yard. Hosts are on site in a separate suite and are friendly and will absolutely respect your privacy. Welcome! Note: this is a great space to get together, but not for partying.

El Rancho Grande - Beautiful Separate guest suite

Self-contained guest suite in beautiful North Qualicum Beach. Our two acre property is private and surrounded by old growth trees. We are in a rural area on the outskirts of Qualicum, a short 10 minute drive to downtown and numerous beaches. A lovely forest walking trail is less than a block away, there is a convenience store 5 minutes away and little qualicum falls park is 5 minutes as well. Our goal is to provide a place where you can relax and get away from the everyday stresses of life.

Bright, modern, and surrounded by open fields and forest, it’s especially well suited for longer stays while you hike, explore the valley, and the rugged west coast beyond. Quiet, and secure, the farm offers a peaceful place to return to each evening. Many solo and female travellers find this space particularly welcoming and safe — a calm setting where nature and ease come together.

Need a mid island get-a-away? An hour and ten minutes to Ucluelet and Tofino or stay local and check out all that Port Alberni has to offer! Studio-ish one bedroom suite with private entrance with a covered exterior sitting area. Don't feel like driving anywhere? Hang out at the pool for the day. Suite comes with bar fridge and a few small appliances. We also supply coffee and tea! A safe place for women and students travelling solo as I am always reachable by phone and usually on site.

Bright, modern, clean, private suite in home near Sproat Lake. Our house is across the road from the lake, however access to the lake is at the public beaches a short drive away. This is an ideal location to explore central Vancouver Island, the West Coast and the beautiful Alberni Valley. We are located 85 km from Ucluelet and 110 km from Tofino. There are many public beaches and hiking trails located nearby. We love where we live and are excited to share that with other people!

Need a place to crash along the way to or from the West Coast? We are just off HWY 4, the gateway to the West Coast! Take a break from the long drive, enjoy fresh ground coffee in the morning and all the comforts of home as you travel. As our guests you’ll stay in our 27ft trailer right in our yard ,across the street from Sproat Lake. You’ll arrive as strangers but leave as friends! You can use the public access for a swim, walk to a park with tennis courts, and even a bike park!

Welcome to a few days of relaxing. You're at the beach in 5 minutes or just step out the door to the forest. Sleep in, order a pizza and play a board game by the cozy woodstove. Put on your best duds for a dinner date down by the ocean. Maybe a fire in the backyard with a cup of cocoa? Full bathroom and everything you need for a tea or coffee and light breakfast. Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.

Overlooking a primary wildlife corridor, guests enjoy front-row seats to black bears catching salmon, eagles soaring above and even sea lions. August- December being the most active for bears, october being the best. Short distance to local attraction stamp falls provincial park. You will wish you stayed longer!

This is a 2 bedroom, pet friendly suite with full kitchen & laundry. Check in and out as you please with the separate entrance but rest assured, we’re right upstairs if you need anything! Please Note: This space is not appropriate for small children or those with mobility challenges.
