The bear cabin was such a great experience. The little cowboy town is a gem. It is only a one min walk to flushing toilets, and the town is so cute. The cabin is exactly as listed. It's rustic and doesn't have many supplies, but we are campers and prepared appropriately. We got to watch the horses in the pasture and enjoy the view from the covered porch with the resident kitty Midnight. Holly even let us bring some carrots to give her horses. The view is the best part! The only disappointing thing was the futon. It's not sleepable, especially for two. But again, we were prepared with an air mattress and enjoy rustic cabins. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in Brighton, MI; Alan was our host. I was in town celebrating my son’s graduation from University of Michigan Pharmacy School. The home was perfect! Great location about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor, great view of lake, peaceful. The home is prefect if you love to cook. It has everything needed; pans, pots, utensils and a great BBQ, too. It is the perfect home to relax from Los Angeles’ hustle and bustle.

A great place to stay a couple days or weeks. Very convenient, great area for walking.

Our second year staying here for a family retreat. It is difficult to find an Airbnb that sleeps 8, but also has room for 8 at the kitchen table and on the sofa, and we are appreciative that this property does. Well stocked and comfortable.

I must say I didn’t get to stay the full time I intended due to a small mishap on my end and when I say Brady was so nice and helpful and fully understanding even refunded me because I couldn’t stay (once again for something on my end) this really restored my hope in humanity! Very professional, kind and easy to communicate with. Would literally respond in seconds when I messaged! I’m Definitely going to book in the summer sometime.

This cozy little gem is a great little getaway place for a weekend stay. All your basic amenities. Clean, easy check in and such a great view. Walking distance to a few places to eat, but not to far from Ann Arbor either. Host was very responsive; friendly. I would totally stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy lake house! The home is nestled in a beautiful forested area, surrounded by tall trees and the sound of birds in every direction — it felt like our own peaceful retreat in nature. The lake view was stunning, and we loved spending mornings sipping coffee on the porch while soaking it all in. The house itself was clean, comfortable, and very family-friendly, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. Whether we were gathered around the firepit, cooking meals together, or just relaxing with a good book, it was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect. Our host was fantastic — incredibly responsive, welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Overall, a truly special spot for nature lovers and families looking for fun, relaxation, and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to come back!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

Our stay was pleasant and peaceful. The home is cozy and neat and gave us such a quaint vibe. Meredith was wonderful, very responsive, helpful and kind. Will definitely stay again.

We chose this cabin as our Christmas destination spot this year. Easily accommodated 5 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12, all of which were entertained by all the cabin has to offer. We’ve stayed in lots of cabins and this was our favorite! It was so gorgeous, private and peaceful. Annette was so responsive and hosted us wonderfully making sure a tree was up and there were Christmas decorations out and about to make it extra festive. Can’t say enough great things about our stay.

Another memorable visit to Camp Woodbury! Highly recommend to any and all folks who crave natural beauty and relaxation. Excellent accommodations and amenities, communicative and warm hosts. This trip was hindered by some power outages but they went above and beyond to ensure our safety and comfort. Couldn’t ask for more.

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

A beautiful location on the lake! It was a bit too chilly for us to enjoy all the property offered but the view is fantastic. Maurice is a great host and made our stay very easy. Convenient to Ann Arbor for our graduation festivities. Our pillow preferences are different but there are so many kinds to choose from :) Definitely recommend

Love this spot, this was my second time staying here! I was in town to attend a show at Fox Theatre and walked there & back, just a little over a mile away... This space is very basic & that might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked perfectly for me & I will definitely be checking the availability on this place the next time I plan on heading to Detroit!

Great location and we love the activities in the cabin. Very comfortable and a short drive to anything in the area.
