We had a great stay!! The house was perfect for the five of us and our dog, with enough space for all of us to feel comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The pool was the best part! Melissa was super prompt when it seemed like the heat to the pool wasn’t running and we were back in there in no time - the heated water was perfect for this fall weather! We also tried some of the recommended spots and overall, this was exactly the quick getaway we needed!

Jeff's place was exactly what we were looking for. Within 15 minutes driving from the Indiana Dunes, pet friendly, and walking distance to town. Very low-key neighborhood when we visited. It is close enough to the train crossing that you can hear the trains when it's otherwise quiet, but it did not bother us, and we slept with no issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend! Charming home with everything you need plus several thoughtful touches. We enjoyed our winter weekend getaway! Highlights included the fireplace, wood burning stove, the view, and a very quaint and lovely home to relax on. It seems like summer would be a great time for visit as well!!

This place is stunning. It is a work of art. Stocked kitchen attached to a cozy den, beautiful dining and lounge area, super comfy king bed, and large bathtub. Michael was incredibly accommodating!

The house was warm and welcoming. There was more than enough space for our group of 10 - we enjoyed the books, the music collection, the art and photos, the games/toys, the fire pit and the hammock. We were able to get to the State and National Parks easily where we visited the beaches, trails, and dunes. The hosts were great and responsive- we would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a great rental. It was clean and easy to find with the one of a kind design. The directions were very clear and easy to follow. We had a great time at the dunes for the weekend. We had 3 teenagers and 2 adults. We would stay again. The pros: clean, lots of room, 3 bathrooms, fully stocked grill, many spices, plenty of blankets, washer and dryer, coffee pot (filters were there but will need ground coffee) everything you need is there except steak knives and wash cloths. It was beautifully decorated and overall a great find. The cons: You have to use the stairs to get into the main part of the house- bringing in luggage and groceries.

The house is immaculate. Everything well organized. Quiet. No complaints

Our family was in town for a wedding that had a reception at Journeyman Distillery...it was truly the perfect location. We enjoyed being able to walk to dinner in the square the night before. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of little extra touches through out the house. We had our grand-puppy along with us and was nice to be able to let him out in the backyard. We took our family picture for our Christmas card in the back as well. Wish we had more time to be able to enjoy the downtown area! Oh - and Phil receives an A+++ for communication! Thanks again for sharing your place with us!

Beautiful home in the country. Stayed in the area for a wedding. Brant was very responsive and always helpful.

We arrived at night and couldn't locate the garage well, so ended up scraping my car on the fence by the house, unfortunately. I wish there were clearer signs showing where the garage is and wish I could be warned earlier of the gravel road by the house & the fence. Neighborhood does not feel very safe but should be fine. The rest was all good! Good for the price, great host.

Greg was an amazing host. He and his wife are clearly professional grandparents. The home was beautiful for our three generation family. The downstairs playroom was a life saver. The house was clean and well set up for guests. They wrote helpful notes and provided clear instructions. We cannot thank Greg enough for sharing his lovely home with us. We also loved the fairy garden in the trees and beautiful backyard. 10/10 recommend

We had a very pleasant stay! The home is just a few short blocks from the Wells Street Beach near the Indiana Dunes National Park. The home was modern and clean, with plenty of amenities. Our host was very responsive and helpful. The location is also just a few miles from the Portage South Shore rail station, allowing for an easy trip into Chicago. If you're looking for a relaxing stay near the Indiana Dunes, don't hesitate to stay here!

This house is nestled away on a quiet road in the peaceful town of Chesterton! Super close to Lake Michigan and lots of good food in the area. Both hosts were friendly and quick to respond with any questions I had. Would recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Very charming and clean house in Valpo near all the amenities that Valpo has to offer. Host was communicative and friendly. Great stay, would book again for sure.
