The Saddlery Cottage

Beautiful converted cottage in the grounds of an historic Victorian country house in rural Wales. Wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, stunning views of the Black Mountains. Perfect for walkers, cyclists, garden-lovers, or horse-riders of all ages. Just 450 yards on a private drive through the estate from a barn which sleeps 8 (see 'Eco-Barn in the Brecon Beacons'). Ideal also for larger gatherings. Dogs welcome; a maximum of two permitted. The cottage is located on a 19th century country house estate of about 10 acres of gardens, lawns and woods. There are three bedrooms - a double ensuite on the ground floor, and two upstairs bedrooms (two doubles, one can be made up as twin beds) that share a large bathroom. A double-height kitchen and an open plan living/dining area with a banquette, a woodburning stove, two large comfy sofas and fabulous views. One side of the cottage looks onto a cobbled stable yard, and the other onto its own garden, then beyond that parkland, Llangorse Lake and the Black Mountains. Fabulous restaurants and farm shops are within a short drive as well as the lake, with boating facilities, beautiful walks out of your front door, and great biking trails. An all-around perfect location for a peaceful holiday in rural Wales. The cottage has its own entrance and parking, also its own garden with a table and chairs. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds of Treberfydd House, and are free to bring up to two pets. My husband and I and our family live a couple of minutes' walk from the Saddlery, and are available to help with any questions guests may have. Completely rural idyll - Perfect for those who want to escape the city and drink in the joys of the countryside. You would need a car to get around. Wellies are recommended, and good walking gear advisable for the hills. Booking is normally for a minimum of three nights. Between November and and March we offer a special rate for a Friday + Saturday booking with a late checkout of 4.30pm on Sunday. Please contact us for details. Just off Wales' Coastal Path, this 17th-century converted barn offers the perfect rural hideaway to enjoy both the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff. With great access to Gileston Manor (1-minute walk away) and Cardiff Airport (a 5-minute taxi ride away), Cowbridge and Llantwit Major (15 minutes' drive). Ty Silstwn is a light, airy space with a modern kitchen, comfy double bedroom, large open sitting room with wood burner and double sofa bed and stunning views over fields to the Severn and Dartmoor.

Cân yr Afon, a riverside retreat

Step outside and enjoy stunning walks, superb bike rides or peaceful fishing directly from this lovely 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house in the beautiful Rhondda Valley, without even getting in the car. Bike Park Wales and the Brecon Beacons are also just a short drive away making the house an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore all that the area has to offer. Bike storage and bike washing facilities available. Parking for 3 cars. Up to 2 dogs are welcome for an additional £20 pet fee per dog.

Old Nursery

Late check-out, 1 p.m. A unique old barn quietly situated near the town centre. There are many old features within the property giving it a cosy feel. It comprises of a double bedroom with an en suite shower room. Downstairs there is a living room and a fully equipped kitchen.Cot and baby high chair are available upon request. On your arrival you will find a complementary bottle of fresh milk, cereals, teas, coffee, pasta, oil, spices and bathroom toiletries ready for use. Free parking on site.

Our 3 story house comes with 4 double bedrooms (1 double & 3 SUPER KING size beds), 2 shower rooms & 1 bathroom. 0.5 miles (10 min walk) from Wales's popular beach & Coney beach fairground. The home has high end fittings, a modern kitchen & good garden space. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy.

Sea Breeze is a very charming open plan house with it's own private parking spaces. It has a well-equipped kitchen, the dining area caters up to 6 persons and the spacious lounge offers a comfortable seating area with electric fire and Smart TV. The French doors allows a continuation of the romantic feel with its cosy outside terrace and sea view while upstairs offers 1 King sized bed, 1 double and 2 singles. There are 3 bathrooms each with a shower with the main bathroom offering a bathtub.

7 Arches Holiday Accommodation

7 Arches holiday accommodation was completely refurbished in July 2019. Benefits from stunning views over the Afan Valley and located on the Afan Forest Park's low level cycle route 'Y Rheilffordd' (railway in welsh) which runs along the base of the valley. This is a great trail for families with picnic and refreshment stops along the 36km trail. 'Y Rheilffordd' gives easy access to 6 world class trails as well as Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre, Glyncorrwg Visitor Centre and Afan Bike Park.

The Little Blue House on Barry Waterfront was our first home and is now available as a private place for you to stay and relax. It's in a great location: cul-de-sac, green space to the front, garden to the rear, close to shops, 5 mins walking distance to several beaches and coastal path, also near to the Goodsheds sustainable urban high street. Built new in 2017, it is a bright, spacious and contemporary home. A well decorated and comfortable place to stay. P.S. The sunsets are amazing!
